Hi everyone,

have issue with p0172 code on my 2010 2.4 accord (tsx) in USA 140 000 km on engine.

car was running fine but two days ago randomly switched off and wouldn’t start for few minutes no codes at that time. Now two days later it’s throwing p0172 code bank 1 rich

so far changed 02 sensor top one, spark plugs, new air filter, cleaner air sensor, was filthy as I used k&n filter I know I know .

anyone has any ideas what to look for?i did notice auto Gear change is more pronounced when it changes gear, could this be related to running rich?

 

I know you replaced the spark plugs, but did you check the coils? Also, is the car running rough and shaking?

 

Coils changed last night with oem units so will see how I go today, car does not run rough that’s what’s weird about it.

 

Try fuel injectors

 

Ok finally fixed, was coil packs in case anyone runs into same issue.
