Oil gets dirty quick

So I have a 2.4l auto with 98xxx kms

So after about 500kms -1000kms after a fresh new oil change my oil gets black so quick, Also I have to add about 4L of oil between 5000kms oil change intervals.

What could be the possible problem? piston rings?
Should I do a leakdown, compression test?
Just changed my spark plugs and no signs of anything just a little lean.
Thanks for the help in advanced!!!

the main job of oil is to lubricate.
the other jobs is to clean.

so, some oils have detergents in them.
the color of oil DOESN'T really indicate a problem.

However, the losing or burning of oil should be nonexistent.

So I understand, you add a total of 4l oil over the 5000km? I'm assuming too you have eliminated any chance of leaks? It could be blow by from worn rings, can you tell if you're burning oil?

define dirty. got darker looking, or you sent it for analysis and it came out dirty. the color usually changes within the first 1K, but its still perfectly good then

2012 TSX Manual says 0W-20
I like Penzoil and Castrol. Currently using Castrol High Mileage in a Honda.
This will be my first oil change for the 2012 TSX. I asked dealer about the break in period and they said just go by the maintenance minder. It can tell when to change your oil. It just hit 5% at 8600 miles.

For 0W-20, I'm going with Penzoil Platinum Synthetic.

Hard to believe I need 0W-20 for Texas but these new engines I guess. I used 5W-20 for the Honda. Everyone said yes follow the owners manual.

You need an oil analysis to determine if your oil is dirty.

The 4qts in 5k is a problem. I would address that first.
