Noise when slowing

Noise when slowing

Greetings, first time poster here. I have a 2010 TSX 4-cylinder with almost 115,000 miles on it. Recently, I have begun to hear a creaking noise when slowing that sounds similar to squeaky bed springs. Last time I took my car in for an oil change about 4 months ago they mentioned my front struts were leaking but said it was not urgent. Could this sound be from worn struts? Should I have them replaced? I got some estimates from some local places ranging from $800 on the low end up to almost $2400 (dealer).

I suggest to start by checking your brakes.
