Keep Losing Driver Seat Memory Setting
#2
Just trying to throw a suggestion out there, no offense intended: is it possible that you're using the wrong key fob? I know some people who leave their keys in a tray by the door, so if you're one of those people you might be grabbing fob 1 sometimes and fob 2 another time.

Another suggestion: is it possible that both buttons on your key fob get accidentally pressed? According to the manual, that could reset the seat position.
The manual also says that in 6MT vehicles, you have to manually hold the seat memory button if the parking brake is not set.

Can you describe how you lose the memory? Pressing a key fob and the seat moved to another position (then follow MrOto advice and check whether you have keyfob- Driver 1 and Driver 2 mixed up).
When you press the two position buttons (1) and (2) on the driver's door, does the seat remember the two position? (Assuming you have previously set them per owner's manual instructions). There is a sensor switch under the seat to remember the position, and that could be defective or malfunctioning.

To MrOtocinclus..no offense taken. In fact, that was the first thing I thought of as I have developed S--- for brains. Actually, I do not use and never have used the 2nd FOB. The light just goes out on the door (seat setting). I am wondering if it has anything to do with my battery. On 2 occasions I have had to get a jump start.

Turns out it was the battery. Replaced it a week ago and all is well. (surprisingly, I did not lose any of my settings. When prompted, I entered my radio code and I was up and running without having to reset anything (except my clock).)

In the old days, mechanic change the battery while the engine is running as the alternator supplied the electrical charges, all radio and other settings stays the same. Not sure if you can do it on a newer car like ours.

I had the same issue with my 2010 TSX base and took it to the dealer, they found a fault with the seat memory and power window module which they replaced and its been working normal since. Good luck.

Never thought to keep the engine running. Not sure why, but I did not lose anything. I was thinking about how much time it was going to take me to reprogram everything. (I am hoping it was just the battery. I have been long out of warranty!!)
