Highway steering issue
Highway steering issue
Does anyone else have an issue keeping their cu2 in a straight line on the highway??
Its like I always have to make micro adjustments on my steering wheel to keep my tsx straight in the lane I'm in. The alignment is ok but its like it's just "wondering" when it comes to highway driving.
It drives perfect in all other conditions. I'm blaming the electronic steering.
Anyone experience this?

I wonder if an adjustment in camber or caster would remedy this. I don't think caster is even adjustable anyway.
Is there any work around for this annoying problem?
I don't think Acura gives a crap about fixing it. I learned that when they had that auto transmission defect mess in the TL/CL.

Running higher tire pressure helps a bit.
There are no workarounds really and the "fix" is to buy an 11+ but like the others say even their 11+ cars do it..
If your toe is off it causes the car to follow the road, maybe you need an alignment also.
On my car it's not so bad after the new tires and higher PSI (it was really bad on stock tires) But on even slightly windy days, like yesterday, I was struggling to keep the car straight. really annoying.

Im going to try a higher psi. What psi do you use?
I guess the better question is, what causes this to happen? I know its probably the EPS but how? What exactly is happening to make the car wonder??

This and well... EPS just sucks in general... Hydraulic Power steering is the best.
The boost on the steering is also WAY to high on these cars.
I found that if I don't make minute adjustments the car just kind of bobs back and forth and generally just stays in the lane. But yea it's crap and above 110 it's a bit scary, and about the worst car to be DUI in
