Gap between my front bumper and fender

today I noticed that there was a small gap between the front bumper and fender, the car has been sitting in my yard for a few months due to the harsh winters in Syracuse. I didnt notice anything until today so it may have happened recently

My friend was telling me that maybe due to this confusing weather, where it rained then got cold, quick and warm again, there may have ice built up and it expanded. But im not sure, any suggestions would help.

because of the pictures are hard angles that you took, its kinda hard to see.

anyway, if its the bumper you can easily realign the bumper.
if its the fender, it might be a little harder to get re-aligned.

cant tell.
but you will be able to tell. check the other side.

the bumper is held in by clips at the headlight. there is also a screw that holds the bumper to the fender in the wheel well.. maybe the screw fell out of the wheel well that holds the bumper to the fender.

if its the fender, bolts hold down the fender from inside the hood.

I will have to check it out, when the snow leaves. I plan on putting it on the road Monday, I will take it to the wash to get out any ice (if any). I dont think a screw would have fallen out because it has been just sitting in the driveway for few months.

I see the gap. Looks like the bumper is coming a little lose. I doubt the fender got messed up if you haven't been driving it.

I think the front bumper just needs to be pressed back in ....it should just snap back into place.
