Deep scratchs on my dashboard.

So when i bought my tsx i noticed some scratches, looks like by a key im guessing. It is located on the passanger side by their knee. Slightly below the small compartment.

Is there a way to remove it or patch it up?

sucks that you didnt make that scratch.
because if you did, it would be a cool story and experience with your TSX.

I dont think there's anything that you can do

Maybe paint might help hide them a little.

Painting it will make it look worse unless you plan on painting all of your interior trim.. What is that stuff they've been advertising on TV for bumpers and such? Consumer Reports just did a review on car care products and commented that it was one of only two products that actually worked.

Here's what I would do.

Clean the area well and use that stuff on the panel.

Sure it will. Scuff it up and it will stick. It WILL look much worse than the scratches and won't match any part of the interior though.

Nope. Back to Black made the list - but not in a good way.

If you do use Wipe new, then open your car doors fully, apply sparingly, leaving the bottle outside the car and be prepared to leave the car doors open for a few hours after application. We don't want to have to call Pyro to come and get you.

I have some annoying scratches inside as well- let me know if back to black/ wipe new works for you. I am interested in buying one if it does.

You can fix it but it will be such a pain I don't know if you would care to even try. Some Acura Dash's are textured too so that'll be another pain to replicate.

Ill go with back to black or replacing panel way. There are way to many scratches for me to go the video route.

^ You should use that Wipe New product that ceb mentioned. I'm thinking about getting it too for my dad's RDX that has some plastic around the front/trunk.

Wipe New may not make the damage disappear completely because there is physical damage (probably) but it may look much better and you'll no longer obsess about it.

Yup, I agree. I was just telling him, according to that list, why use Black to Black when Wipe New has better results?

I think what would happen is the scratches would still be there, without sanding or actual painting they won't be removed, but the Wipe New may make them look less noticeable.
