Any other 6 speeds, hear a chirp when they're windows are down and they are accelerating agressively. Usually only happens for me over 6500 rpms, pretty much right at the red line. I depress the clutch and throw it into the next gear, and i'm not sure if the chirp happens when i push the clutch in or let it go. The stealership is stumped, and even called acura manufacturer and they had no clue what it could be. Sounds like it comes from the right front wheel ( which is where all the power goes to I believe ) and its not wheel spin, I purposely did that for the stealership and there is a definite difference in the two sounds, and this chirping noise accurs all the way through 6th gear ( 125 MpH ish )

I think you mean the pinging noise problem that we all have if you say it happens all the way through 6th gear....where are you doing 125 mph? on the track?

 

lol no, not pinging, pinging happens for me when i'm idling.. its a chirp and I do 125 a lot of places. Any straight a way when i can see quite a bit ahead and there are no cops i push it to about 130 ish sometimes i get to the 138 govenor

but no its a definite chirp, when shifting near the red line.

 

The only chirp I ever hear is when I "chirp" my gears hahaha......

maybe it's your tires chirping? u sure it's not wheelspin?

 

I'm pretty sure its not wheelspin if hes able to do it in 6th gear hell i tried to do it in 3rd and can barely do it
