A/C not blowing cold air?!?!

Hey ladies, was in Atlantic City for the weekend... Man was that WILD! I experienced my first actual HOT day of the summer out there (88º F) & when I tried to use my A/C in AC (lol) it wouldn't blow cold air. I actually think the condenser or compressor wasn't even turning on. Checked fuse 16 and it was fine. Anything else I should check for?

Magnetic clutch relay for starters....swap it with another relay in the fuse box and see what's up...if it doesn't work after swapping then next step is to get some pressure gauges on it and check your freon levels

Lol at 88 being hot, well it is, but a week ago it was 96F over here. I always thought my AC was never up to par. I don't know if it's just hot as balls out here or what, but if I keep the AC at fan level 1 it's almost useless. 2 helps, 3 is the best.

Thanks for your input sir. I will try this today after work. Is it possible that the compressor isn't turning on because it is out of Freon?

Nope. First I checked the relay like suggested above, and it was fine. I even switched it with a similar one and the compressor still didn't kick on. A/C fuse under the drivers side dash was good. So I asked my father who was a Master Tech for Honda back in our country (Dominican Republic) and he said on most cars, when they are low on refrigerant, the compressor does not turn on to avoid any possible damage. Guess it's some kind of safety feature.... but as soon as I added just a bit of refrigerant, the compressor fired right up.
