A/C and Climate Control

I all. Just got a 2012 TSX wagon and am new to this forum. Thanks for all the great info; I am somewhat technologically challenged so I appreciate your feedback.

I am trying to understand how the climate control works. There are so many buttons and some override others so I don't really have a firm grasp of which buttons to push to achieve what I want. For example, you can't even tell if the A/C is on, as there is no light on that button, and the digital display is so small I cannot see it without my reading glasses. So which combination of buttons do you push for it to go on and off? How about if you want the A/C off but the vents on? There are too many choices and the manual is not of much help, but maybe I am over-complicating it.

Thank you!
JC

You just need to push the A/C button on the dash to turn the A/C off and leave the vents on." A/C off" will be displayed. Press the button again to turn the A/C back on. Personally, I just use the "auto" setting. Set mine to 19C in the summer and 20-21C in the winter and never touch it again.
