Had the TSB procedures done on my 2012 wagon last week. It was 97+ degree all week last week in the DC area so the issue was easy to replicate. I demanded that a tech ride with me when I brought the car in for service so that I can show them the exact problem (the service manager thought that I was describing a warped/rusty rotor situation). The lower ball joints were replaced. The problem now is fixed. The thumping noise & feel at very low speed when braking/taking off are now gone. The car now feels like what a brand new car should feel like.


PS: they gave me a 2012 TSX wagon loaner with 7,500 on the odometer. The loaner had the same exact problem.

 

Acura replaced my balljoints today and the noise is now gone. I can tell because even when I turned the wheel at a complete stop I felt and heard a popping noise. That's now gone and is extremely smooth and the car feels like brand new. The 2012 TSX loaner I had was as smooth as butter so I'm glad to have my car running the same.

 

still cannot get the dealer to fix mine. mine seems to have gone away a bit and comes back sporadically. i have grown tired of the tech telling me its the caliper release delay bullshit even with a TSB.

now my rear suspension is making noises more than the front...

I know this thread is long since dead, but I found it helpful. Unfortunately, the very same thing is happening to my 2014 TSX, and Acura won't even entertain the thought of doing the TSB. Got a quote for $1,500 just in parts :/
