2010 TSX Rattling noise interior front cabin...not metal noise
I know that many people have referenced a pinging noise, but I don't know what that sounds like. I had a rattling noise that was driving me crazy. I heard it with both the radio on and off. If you have this same noise, try this when you hear the noise. Put 1 finger directly on the house/homelink button near the sunroof controls. Apply a little pressure lightly as if it were a real button. You shouldn't hear the noise anymore. The noise problem is that the plastic casing is a little smaller than the space, so with it being loose or from vibration, it hits the other plastic casing and causes the annoying rattling sound. Maybe you could slide a piece of napkin or something in the corner surrounding the case edgings to make a tighter fit.
Let me know if this corrects your problem. I want to know if this is just me OR are others having this same problem.

My TSX has been plagued with little annoying rattle.
First was the boot that everybody had problems with. I went to get that fixed since it had a TSB, but they just made it worse. I just forgot about it since it wasn't THAT bad.
Next my rear view mirror made this annoying high pitches rattle. It was actually the mirror and I went in and they replaced it so that is good
The only one left is the sunglass compartment. It rattles a bit and if i press on one of the corners it stops. I'm not going to bother trying to fix it. Might just stick something in there though...
The good thing is that the ACURA dealership is very generous and will work with you to fix all these small annoyances (its a new model afterall).
GL get all those rattles out!!!

Thanks for the info. Someone else had previously posted a problem with the sunglass holder also. It is so annoying & sometimes I enjoy riding without the radio so hearing noises really bothers me. Especially when you consider it being a new car, and service techs can sometimes be of no assistance.
