mmmm that's the million dollar question to boosting a FWD car haha.

And I can tell you that rolling at like 35ish mph in 2nd gear and slamming it will indeed spin the tires quite furiously haha.. but it's fun

I'm not so sure motor mounts will help you with wheel hop/tire spins. Motor mounts would only help with the movement of your engine (which I would like to record on a video, but haven't had time yet), and keeping everything nicely aligned/centered with transmission. Easier shifting and more stability... With that being said no one makes aftermarket motor mounts for our car haha. We have begged XLR8 and AxionIndutries.. but there is no profit for them in this market.

Getting some Michelin Pilot Super Sports will help you get some grip and that'll help a bit.

Also, you can buy the traction control device that hondata sells, along with some accessory that Vit sells so that you can "boost by gear". He will basically tune you so that you can hit MAX boost per gear and avoid tire spin. It's pretty phenominal really, but way too much for what I wanted to achieve.

Hope that helps!

Yeah this helps a lot ! I have looked for after market mounts and yeah nothing out there. Might have to look into the traction control from Vit if I want to really take my car to the track. But for the most part this will just be something fun to drive daily and put some people to shame when they think there car is way faster lol

Can you vent the bypass valve into the atmosphere like a blow off valve?

Uhmmm I thought it already did lol. To be honest I didn't look into it much. When you're not full throttle you can hear it hissing which is letting out pressure from the manifold. It's the same mechanism that's on turbos. With a spring actuated valve. The only thing I did was T off that line so I could install my boost gauge.

I appreciate the kind words! Definitely took some time and patience being the first to go stage 2 on CU2, but it was definitely worth it.

I'm just glad that I've been able to help everyone else who wanted to go down this same route. I've had a few people now contact me about going supercharged. I would be glad to answer any questions you have, and/or if you hit some bumps in the road (I know I certainly did).

I'm still working on getting my resonator welded in my exhaust, and that will probably be my last "mechanical" mod. Maybe bumper/grille change in the near future (and of course maintenance items), but that's about it.

Now I can focus on keeping the car clean, and making cool videos to make you guys jealous :P

Lmao I was on 417 near the airport when I saw an sti being an asshole weaving in an out of traffic(behind me) so I sped up in the left lane to get even with the guy in the right hand lane (so the sti couldn't pass), he was like 30 ft in front of me. I was WOT in 6th gear going like 85 and the sti still caught up to me like I wasn't moving, then passed me before I could get even with the right hand lane driver. Sti was being a dick... But I couldn't do anything to stop it!

I remember saying then.. I can't wait to be boosted!!
..and then it was so!

From heeltoes website
"including the smallest CT boost pulley of 3.15 psi for around 9.5 psi of boost"
How would that void warranty if ct supplies it?
Confusing.

Also if you bought the kit from healtoe like I did and you did not pay extra for the smaller pulley it comes with the pulley you got. There description is a little confusing. I would go back and read it again because I thought it can with the smaller one as well but it just says the kit is capable of making that much boost with that size pulley.

Not trying to be a downer but I am pretty sure that's what I read and same about the warranty. Just something you might want to look into.

Ct-e sells the 3.15 pulley but also state that it will void their warranty. Well its official. Just wished i had my injectors though.

--- But that really sucks about the injectors, and no warranty card.

I still have my warranty card, I never sent it in. I wonder if that's bad haha

I also got a checklist from CTE that showed everything that came with the kit. I have no idea where that list is. Maybe still in my garage somewhere.

I still have the instructions as well (for civic install) but fairly similar.

And I also got two CTE stickers. I only used one though.

Then lastly, I only got my smaller pulley when I ordered my MERC aftercooler kit.

ACTUALLY!! When I thought that pulley was messed up I bought one from VIT. It's the 2.95" pulley. So now I have two. I'd really like to get rid of it since I don't need it. PM if you're interested. I never even took it out of the bubble wrap.

After some reading, its probably better I dont get the 3.15. One step at a time. I also have to wait for my flashpro too. Vit has them on back order. Man its like taking FOREVER just to get this project started. Seems like no one has anything in stock.

Whats the size of the pulley you're trying to get rid of?

I have two 2.95" pulleys. Trying to get rid of the one VIT sent me.

I'd say wait to get the smaller pulley until you get the aftercooler kit. You can't really even utilize it until then anyways. The SC kit alone with std size pulley and CTE base map is still super fun! Expect to blow some black smoke at WOT though, they give you a super rich tune just to be safe!

I'd say go ahead and get the other stuff installed, downpipe, gauges, sway bar, intakes etc.. so that when the FP comes in you're ready for the SC install! Im excited for you man!

I already got all that installed except for the wideband but that i can do pretty quick. Yeah im gonna have to stick with the 3.8 for now. I dont plan on going stage 2 anytime soon. They dont have a base map for the 2012 just yet so I got the Vit ultimate tune/flashpro combo.

You should wear your extra pulley around your neck. It kinda worked for Flava Flav with his enormous clock.

Oh dude at the very least he had a catless turbo-back cuz there were 2 foot kamehameha waves shooting from his exhaust between shifts, maybe not tuned but regardless that extra 100+ hp is very noticeable, yeah dude was very unsportsmanlike, I even gave him thumbs up after he passed me on the straight, I think he was just mad he forgot about what car he was driving when an Acura TSX went flying by him on the corner, too scared I guess, but my abuella can drive fast in a straight line smh

Fork the extra chip for priority tuning status if you want more than 3 updated maps a week... Vit is the man but the priority status is exactly what he advertises it as. I upgraded mid-way and went from 2-4 updated maps a week to 5-10+ maps, sometimes up to four maps in one day.

I dont have that much time to drive my tsx during the week since i drive a work vehicle. My 2012 tsx didnt even hit 9k on the odometer. 3 maps a week might be to much lol.

Yeah I bought the priority tune, and I was the bottle neck for getting more tunes. I basically only had time to get one data log a day. I did however get 2 logs done in a day. I had to wake up at 5:30am so I could still get to work on time, sent my log in at 4:30PM and VIT turned out another tune at 5:00pm. It was one of the only times I didn't have other stuff going on to go out and do another tune at night.

Yeah, idk if it was my spark plug remover or what.. but those things were a pain in the butt to put back in. Once I tightened the plug, the socket would be on the plug so tight that when I tried to pull it out, that socket would come off the extension. I really had to show it some love and tender touch in order to slide it off haha.

That happen to me a million times. I ended up using a socket made for spark plugs. Never had that problem since. I also started going by torque standards when tightening.

I get that often even with other types of bolts and whatnot . There are better wrenches (and similar tools) out there that should prevent that from happening by including some sort of locking mechanism to keep the socket in place.
