It doesnt really hang lower.. It kinda just fits over top. I did a quick test fit. Ill upload the photo. If it is any lower than the max would be the thickness of the lip which is ~1 cm

Lol I could do some clearing for ya. I could probably do both lights in under 4 hours. That's total time from taking the lights out to installing your last clip in your bumper. I was nervous doing it too, but I bought my LED switchbacks and when I got them in the mail it was enough encouragement to get it done. I think the biggest thing that helped me out besides kowloons DIY was the fact that I got everything prepared before I started. Clearing an area to work, getting plastic cups and labeling each cup for all the clips and screws, and having a partner to help in splitting the light open. The lights cool pretty quickly, you have like 1:00 to 1:30 minutes to get it open before the glue cools down. But really it's not bad at all. You can do it man!

Yeah doesn't hang much lower. It's slightly warped on passengers side and towards the middle cause of the way it was shipped/carried. When I get back from vacation I'll bend it to the correct shape before getting it painted.

I thought about doing vinyl but the problem is when you buy a sheet that long you end up getting so much more vinyl than you need since it comes in a square, It would be nearly $150 to get the appropriate size.

I have thought about cutting out the holes and putting some LED's but I thought if I was going to that I would wait and do it later.

The japanese will not be happy that you ripped off one of their ropes. The rope demons are sure to haunt your TSX now.

Im trying to price it out...(thought process)OEM Sports bumper lowest is $610 shipped

--the type s lip you have there plus paint and I might as well add a roof spoiler to get them painted the same time...around lets say $500

Decisions..decisions!!! Damn it Joe I was sold on the OEM sports bumper till I saw this replica fitment --- looks good

Yeah so total cost after everything is done and painted will be $380.... not the worst price for a cool add on. Just wish some of these pieces would come paint matched already. Im paying more than twice what the lip cost to get lip painted I dont know what I'm going to do about my roof spoiler if/when I ever finish that cause I wanted to get that paint matched too but even doing it yourself comes out to be $150 for all of the materials you will need. Maybe I'll just wrap it in CF.

I'm just glad I made the purchase cause only a handful of people have this part. hopefully update you guys with it fully installed and painted in 2 weeks or so.

I like black. Im already having problems with peeling from the paint because of chicago traffic and rocks. Pisses me off man. Thinking to get the Aero bumper when some money comes around.

Which led switch backs did you order? And Where?

Yeah dude I think the cheapest I could get it done professionally would be around $200, anything less than that for PWP is not realistic. The pearl is what drives the price up so much.

I did look into doing it myself, 2 aerosol cans of 11oz PWP comes out to be 99.99 before shipping. Then I have to add on primer and clear coat. All together ends up being $150 to do myself. So I save $100 but go into the project not knowing if it will come out correctly. I would rather spend the extra $100 and get it right.

$130- lip shipped from ebay +$250 paint matched= $380.

I'm going to install it myself to save money there, hopefully that won't be too hard.

@grigio- LED switchbacks I got from VLEDS.com I recommend getting the larger one for $20 more because those "supposedly" don't require resistors. (and they are brighter)

Also Ed, I couldn't really tell if your tabs were already installed or not but this is what they should look like.

Yeah, PWP is a weird color. When I bought touch-up paint, there were actually two tubes. Grigio touch-up paint only came in one tube.

Look forward to seeing the final product.

Yeah, I was like "what price did you just say?"

I'm absolutely positive it will come out great though.

I'm too addicted man, I fall asleep thinking about which mods would look good on the car and future set ups.

I hope to still see you active MrO. I always enjoyed seeing pictures of your ride.

The lip is great, guite similar to the german type s lip as mine for example BUT n my eyes the acuragrill makes the face feeling so harmless instead the lip gives the face an agressive look. So for me it would look way better with a mesh grill or something like that. Also im not a friend of those eyelids. Remove them and change the grill to something more agressiuve and he front is perfect.

Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I would like to get a mesh grille, but I haven't seen any that are my style yet, and of course they are pretty pricey to get the legit ones from over seas.

I like the eyelids, but right now they are kinda serving a dual purpose. I like them most importantly, and secondly I'm getting some bad cataracts in that area of my headlights, I figured this would be a good way to cover it up and look stylish at the same time. I can't believe my baby is showing signs of aging :/
