I thought it looked ok but I would like to see the border painted too. I have the same color as the picture I am torn on what to do paint the whole thing or leave it. Oh the dealer is asking $550 just for that piece to be painted

Agreed.

Yeah get that garbage out of here. the new TL is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. I have not met one single person yet to say the new TL looks even "decent". and the fact that people are buying it just makes me wonder. Why would you support a company who releases a next feature product that looks like a joke?? I can't tell which side is the front and which is the back. The car looks like a diamond. The grill looks like a shield. Was it planning on going Jousting??

TSX I like. (rear end especially, very nice). the girll is smaller. however I believe the top part of the grill that looks like a shield (smaller than the TLs) should be centered. and maybe not as shiny. or even seperated by bars or something. those Mugen pics were pretty nice. and those painted grills do make it look better. I wish I can see one in person. Also I think they shouldve added side marker lights. light the 04-08 TLs. maybe not as long but some side marker lights would've filled in the sides better.

I know everyone's paint matching the grille and all.. but to me something's still missing cuz the car still has chrome all over.. the window trims and door handles kinda look out of place to me when only the grille is painted.

Anyone out there going to paint match all the other parts?

I like the other chrome accents. I also think it matches up with my Liquid Silver RonJon Legends very well.

i dont mind the chrome accents on the car but i think im gonna have to try and eliminate as much chrome as possible. the color scheme for my car seems like its going to be black and white so the chrome just throws it all off kinda

I just photoshopped this. Here's how it would look like if you just paint the smiley face part. I think it doesn't look bad. Just another option.

I wonder what that black one would look like in blue. If you look at most nice cars nowadays, they all have some mix of satin black and chrome trim on the grill. It creates a nice combo. Unfortunately in the TSX's case, the chrome is not a trim but a whole large piece, yet I think it does need to belong there. When you add the silver beak edge, it makes everything look too big and not thin and refined.

All painted I think makes the car look a little bland.

I'm thinking about trading in my 2005 carbon grey pearl 6MT TSX with 80K miles on it for a 2009 palladium metalic 6MT TSX, but I really don't love the grill on the new one. That said, I don't do mods, so what do you think of <http://www.wooddashexperts.com/2009-acura-tsx-grill/>?

I think you guys are making too big a deal out of the grill, it's not that bad. Besides after a few weeks it grows on you, frankly I find paintmatching makes the front look bland/cheesy almost.

I can't be happier with the matched grill. I liked the chrome grill a lot, but having it matched just finishes it off for me. Eventually I'd like to get it lowered and some larger wheels, but as it is I love my car and think the black grill looks awesome.

honestly the stock grille is warming up to me. I think paint-matching makes it look too much like a Camry in the front. just my .02...

i'm not a big fan of the painted grill i think the big chrome flashy thing has grown on me and it accents the chrome on the rest of the car very well, and the liquid graphite legends :-P seem to bring the darkness and the chrome out on the vehicle imo

I am not a photshop expert I just used MS Paint. I think this would look good too.
Before: Ugly Blinged out aftermarket grill

After: Less Bling

I'd be willing to swap my euro Accord 09 grille with one of your TSX grilles, just to look totally different to all the other Accords here.

Would need to swap teh emblems over too.

I wish I wasn't new here so I could multiquote...

Anyway, I agree with the other guys that think the grill looks good as is. I also agree that with the color matched grill the TSX looks too much like a camry and Holy buh-Geezes there are way too many of those things to look at already...

In some cases the paint matched does look nice though... TSX's with drop, wheels, and the sport aero kit look uber sick with the paint matched grill...
