Thanks for Patcracks for the picture and permission to post. So I am really starting to like the 2009 TSX and if I would find a shop to modify the front end to something like this then I am sold.

trust me, once you get the new TSX the new grill will grow on you. After a week of ownership you'll love the new grill

 

ill45...I second what he said. Its not to a point that the front of the car is my FAVORITE view of the car, maybe because of the aerokit but again, i stress, pictures don't do it justice...but in person, in PWP with aerokit....so many people complimented me on the car, especially theagressive front fascia....I LOVE my TSX soooooooooooooo much, I can't wipe this grin on my face, a grin even my 2006 TSX never gave me.....

your 2009 TSX grill still hasn't grown on you... or are you a 1st gen owner still?

 

Not bad as an 05 gen i've been researching it with my friend whose looking to buy one it looks more and more appealing everytime we visit it.

 

lcrazyaznl...thats what most people notice as well...at first it was major rejection from pretty much everyone, then slowly but surely, people have been coming around, some, sooner than later. I was part of the basher at first and now, I am an owner. And I had an 06 TSX.....

its not as bad with the upgraded bumpers but my major dislike wasnt the front end its the large flat spots on the fenders. looks like a camry. overall the car from a far looks good and heck I would probably tade the CL in for one for the interior comforts as long as it had the upgraded bumpers and larger wheels cause the stock ones look super small.

 

I'm loving the new TSX. The grill has grown on me, however I noticed a custom one the dealership here put on one and it looks awesome. When I pick up my TSX (being worked on) I'll take a photo and post it.

I don't know. It was essentially the aero front bumper with some minor modifications. The main thing I noticed was that the "element" wasn't chrome but painted to match the color of the car. I have grown to like the grill now so it was unique. I think many will prefer the look of it.

 

the grille keeps growing on me too. when i first saw it in pics i though it was hideous. then the more i saw it i was like ok maybe its not too bad. then i saw one in person when i was getting my 1 gen serviced and now i think it looks sick. i think it would look even better all black or color matched to the body, but i hate chrome.

the same thing happened to me when the new 'big mouth" audi grille came out. at first i thought it looked like a trout, but now i love it.

I like it 100 times better than the original grill. Too bad Honda doesnt listen to the opinion of the people who drive there cars.
