I have seen a V6 Basque Red recently, mighty fine colour. Is the blue 1G TSX on the street yours or your neighbour?

 

Nope, it my sister. I miss the steering feel in the 2G TSX.

 

would love to get that color but would have to get automatic transmission. I want 6MT. I am planning to get a 2011 tsx. Hopefully it will be offered again with MT. Oh yes WELCOME

 

I have a 10 V6 in Basque Red. I have the muds & rear lip spoiler instead of wing. I've put Enkei ZR-1 wheels, tint & upgraded speakers on mine.

Finally some new pictures for u guys . It feels good to finally have my car back after 4 months of waiting. The only mods are the wing spoiler, Interior LEDs, License Plate Leds, and an Aero front sport bumper. Enjoy

The Aero bumper looks really good in basque red. I bet it would look completely kick-ass with a paintmatched grill.

That combination is available in 09 and 10 model.

Since we are not getting the 2011 TSX until sometime in February in Canada, I can only go by the Acura US website. And they show the Basque Red is only available with 5AT and not 6MT model, further more , it's not available in ebony interior colour, only parchment and taupe.

 

i think with the red, it would be too matchy matchy (just like the blue) however, with the modulo grille, paint match would look good (seeing how great it looks with blue compared to paint matching blue chrome beak)

 

^Basque Red and Premium White Pearl are the two colours that look great with the stock grille. Now, if I can find time to install the A emblem on my Modulo Sports Grille .

Wow.. didn't even know they had such colours for the TSX's/CU2's. Is this a colour only for the TSX's because I've never seen one in Australia =o

You are correct, Basque Red is only for the TSX in North America as well as Japan home market Accord. In Australia as well as Europe, they have Milano Red instead.

 

That sports bumper just looks so GOOD! I want to eat it for dinner.

I love the 1st gen TSX, especially the hydraulic steering. The steering feel is so much better, but that’s just an minor inconvenience in the 2nd Gen. I’ll be sure to keep on loving my car. Good luck whenever you decide on a new car, but your Milano red is another gorgeous color.

Defcon saw my car in person and he told me to paint match too. I saw TL’s paintmatched and they look not so nice. I rather spend money on Heeltoe’s grille whenever that is out. Thanks for your compliment btw, I’m pleased to see the aero bumper turn out so nicely. All I need to do now is get some Ron Jon’s like u and I’m set! lol

I am not a big fan of the tan either but its livable. When I brought the car I had the choice of getting black interior but I didn’t get it cuz my family as a thing of never getting black interior. I’ll be tinting the car soon, so hopefully it looks better. The basque red is a very beautiful color and it also changes throughout the day, so it never gets old.



I agree with this totally. The TSX beak suits these colors well, and gives them a nice, clean look. I have to say though that the sport bumper adds a sportier dimension to the car and makes the beak grille look even more aggressive in a good way.

Yes it definitely is more defined in red. I myself was blown away on how good it look on the basque red. I saw a silver, and white with the aero front, but the aero bumpers didnt look as defined. But then again this is my car so my opinion is biased. lol
Adding to what Tech said, the Basque Red is available in North America, and it still hard to spot one. Not sure if the Milano red is super rare in Europe.

MrOto, thank you for your help in advising on how to tell the body shop to get the sport bumper. It was their first time handling such a request. But the whole bodyshop office was very exciting to show me the car when I picked it up at night. They took me inside the garage so I would see in under the light. lol It was well worth the wait. Again man, thanks for your help a lot, and make sure you chew well, because that sport bumper is very tasty. lol

I cleared my headlights, and installed switchbacks. Still need to fix the hyperflash though. Took this photo op before my car gets dirty again

Hello everyone. I just bought my Basque Red '11 TSX this weekend. I absolutely love this color, and it was the only Basque Red TX V6 in the state of Florida.
