Hmm... After many months I finally have the means to be able to modify my car a bit and share it with you guys. Its been tough watching from the background while everyone has been killin' it, but atleast now I have a few things worth showing. Ill be updating this thread heavily over the next few days with pics of mods ive done in order, but for now i'll leave you guys with the first pic I ever posted of my car:

When I joined this forum I knew absolutely nothing about cars. In that thread I thought that somehow removing my nav DVD shorted out my electrical system (???). Fast forward two years and im being flown out to California to test drive a new tire before its public launch. Life is pretty crazy/awesome.

Anyway, before the festivities launch, thanks to all the OGs Ive learned so much from, defcon, heavyduty, kowloon, tsx09tech, hondo, ttk, justn, saucy, (list goes on), and of course, the rest of the crew

 

I'm so pissed I didnt make the list!

Haha people always forget I made my own intake, it worked pretty well too! I took it out the last time I took the bumper off though. I enjoyed the sound with it off more than I enjoyed the 2HP gain lol maybe if I buy this J-pipe/test pipe from RC I might have more of a reason to put it back on.

I also installed LED interior lights, I also made a DIY for it, but never took really good pics. I always think I will and say I will but fuck am i lazy when im home.

LED interior is one of the best mods you can add to this car, period. Every single comment ive received has been positive, as well as several pleas to install them on my friends cars, as long as you have the correct choice of color, a deep dark blue, its awesome

 

I also really love my weather tech mats, they fit like a glove, and in any nice car I acquire from now on, will likely be a go to purchase. I cheaped out and didnt get the rear set, but fuck my rear passengers



So one of the weathertech emblems came stuck to the paperwork for the mats, which sucked. I emailed them asking for a replacement emblem and they never replied. As far as im concerned, thats like some fucked up shit, and the company must be run by hitler and satan and republicans.

in fact, thanks to robbp, i got my own new emblems made.
When i did the design, i went simple and pretty plain. I debated putting a personal touch on them, mainly because putting your own name on stuff is tacky as shit, but I figured you know, fuck it, im paying money to get custom emblems made, my name goes on these shits

I have blue LED too...a little dimmer than that, but matches the mood/map lighting blue perfectly, I agree...it's very soothing to have it on.

PS...Tire Kingdom, I think I remember the colors...and that's where I get my alignments (in FL of course). Also, any shots of the weathertechs with your badge on? in a way I like that they route the dirt down from the dead pedal back onto the mat...that's the only place I get dirt on the carpet on my oem all weathers. And not fk your passengers unless they're the ones cleaning the rear carpet for you!
