If only I can ride her more. I only get to ride 4 months a year with the weather here in Vancouver. Plus it doesn't look professional going to work in a sport bike.

Thanks! I think the rims ain't bad for what I paid for. Kinda keeps the classy look of the TSX.

Thanks for the compliments. was really going for the classy (without breaking the bank) look vs. sporty.

Mr.NC, stock height. Suspension mod has to wait. Since the sun's starting to shine, the bike's getting a power commander and new tires. It doesn't look that bad, does it?

Great to see another CU2 from Metro Vancouver.

Is that an 09 or 10 model? They were trying to sell an 09 Basque Red Premium 6MT at Burrard Acura a few months back for close to $9K off, but yours is the Base model.

It's an 09 6MT base from Burrard. Got it brand new last Sept for 24K, which I think is a heck of a deal.

Well... a couple weeks ago, I had to let go of the TSX to get this for winter:

And this one for summer:

I already miss the TSX, but this little thing is a real blast to drive. One day, I'll be in a TSX again.

Anybody else made the jump?

Price

Besides badging, the Scion has more plastic cheap interior and horrible stereo unit, with 2 toned color seats.

Subaru has better interior, better tech, navi unit, and leather/alcantara seats.

Also, the suspension setup for both cars are different. There is no clear favourite here, because they depend on your style of driving. So 1 person would go faster in the Scion, but another person would go faster in the Subaru. Only way to find out which suits you is to drive them both.

Also, I wish I had the cajones to exchange my TSX for a BRZ or FRS.... 1 year late

The front bumper of the BRZ was the deal breaker for me. You're right about the stereo, that's why I opted for the upgraded head unit.

Do what I did... get a fairly decent practical car and have the FR-S/BRZ as your summer/weekend toy

YOUR TSX, WAS A NICE RIDE...Congrats on the FRS

Wanted to get the BRZ, but decided on SE... TSX SE was more bang for the buck, and currently the BRZ is so limited and so marked up in SOcal... Im hoping to see the BRZ in my garage in the future and I will wait till the dust settles, and the BRz STi ?!? hope it gets released in the US soon.
For now, i will stick and stay classy with Acura's.

haha I don't have the money for 2. If I did, I'd get both the FRS and BRZ

It's kinda neat, I foresee A LOT of modding in the future. If you don't like one particular piece on your car simply swap it with the BRZ or vice versa.

Yeah, that's why if I had done it, I would've gotten the BRZ, then just switch out the front fascia for the FRS style, but keep the lights. Cheaper to replace front vs. interior. Also easy to just get the 86 piston logo stuck unto the BRZ fake vents for even better sexiness.
