lol i know. i dont know if i like it yet. im going to finishing wrapping the bottom grill and roll with it for a week. if im not feeling it afterwards then ill just take it off.
yea youre right. i just noticed that. i did it last night in the garage before i went to bed so i didnt really get a good look at the entire mini project. ill work on it and take another shot of it when everything is done.
my coworker suggested to wrap the entire mirror since i originally wrapped it around the painted side only. so its only half wrapped.
ill try that and see how it looks before i decide to rip it off or leave it.

It looks weird on the grill, and the matching grill and side mirrors has kinda an "Opie" look, but ... strangely, the grill STILL doesnt' look as bad as I imagine it does stock.
If you like it, though, go with it. Your ride, your choice.

just finished wrapping the grill.
also replaced a busted DRL bulb used in my fog lights. it was running 80w and one of the bulbs exploded. switched it to 65w.
also added the headlight protectors.
ill take pics outside tomorrow

ive seen a lot of russians wrap the interior with cf vinyl. use a heat gun. it makes it easier to stretch
www.stickercity.com get their textured 3D cf vinyl. $30 for 12in x 48in

hey ed_423, this is the thread for the guy on the 3G TL board that did it, I'm not trying to overdo it. most likely the cup holder area, and some accents on the door area.

i remember the guy saying it will last about 3 years. im not sure if it will damage the paint if you remove it. look up 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber vinyl and it should tell you whether it'll damage the paint
I have been doing tons of research for the 3M di-noc wrap, and as far as I know, every body says it comes off, and you will never even know it was there. Sometimes, but very rarely, it will leave a little residue behind, but you can just get some goo-gone for that. I have seen people take it off from their interiors, and it did not even leave anything. If anything, it might even be protection from scratches, and stuff like that.

3m scotchprint is their new line of vinyl, it was designed with automotive applications in mind, its pretty much identical to di-noc in terms of function, but in terms of aesthetic, the cf weave pattern is much smaller and more attractive. You can go on 3m website and order a sample pack for free. Like i said it has di-noc beat in the looks department!
