2012 BWP TSX Sport Wagon

2012 BWP TSX Sport Wagon
I purchased my 2012 Bellanova White Pearl TSX Sport Wagon back in December. I owned a 2009 Honda Accord V6 Coupe before the wagon. I've been loving my wagon since I purchased it, and I started some modding right off the bat. Thought I'd just share my progress.
I'll start with what I owned prior to the wagon:
![](http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/88/img3917copy2.jpg)
![](http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/3683/img3869copy.jpg)
![](http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/4104/img3904copy2.jpg)
Now, here's my wagon shortly after purchase:
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img703/4599/img9939small.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img651/9348/img9996small.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img145/6682/img9997small.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img842/6090/img9998small.jpg)
First thing I did about two weeks later was to replace the wheels. I purchased a set of Sparco Assetto Gara wheels in gold finish. They're 17x7.5 +45, and I am reusing the OEM tires for now. They're pretty light at 18.7 pounds. I know some will say I should have went up in wheel size, but I'm perfectly fine with sticking to 17". I'm going for a different goal with my wagon than I did for my Accord.
Here's the wagon in the morning, waiting to get the wheels and tires mounted:
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img715/1651/img0433small.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img715/5559/img0432small.jpg)
Bye-bye OEM wheels. lol
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img15/5999/img0603small.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img801/4496/img0601small.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img94/9862/img0610small.jpg)
Hmm....going to have to do something about the wheel gap, though.
Front:

Rear:
![](http://imageshack.us/a/img855/8452/img0607small.jpg)
So I purchased a set of H&R Street Performance Coilovers, not only to lower the ride height, but also to tighten up the steering response.

After:

I had it lowered ~1.1", just wanted a moderate drop. Went from a height of ~27.35" from ground to fender down to ~26.25.
And here she is, just out and about, around school and after a detailing. Last thing I did was to put in a set of WeatherTech rain visors on the driver and passenger windows.

Thanks! I'm from SoCal, in the San Gabriel Valley area (626). But I'm currently going to school in Central California, at UC Merced.
A couple of reasons: I was getting kind of tired of the Accord and wanted something new. I'm going to be moving to another state later in the year when I start grad school, so I wanted to have the utility of more cargo space. I'm a Honda fan, so I wanted to keep it in the family. I don't really like the Crosstour, and I didn't want to move up to an SUV or crossover. The TSX Sport Wagon was a perfect fit for me, and I'm really loving the car. You'd think I'd miss the power of the V6, but I don't (most of the time); the wagon is pretty peppy.

Nice wagon. The wheels look good.
I have a FSM wagon. The extra cargo space definitely comes in handy.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I want to do some subtle exterior mods, but there are no front lips or any type of reputable body kit for the TSX after the 2011 MMC. Nothing other than the two little OEM front under spoilers, which may be too subtle.
If anyone knows of any front spoilers/lip/bumper that will fit the facelifted TSX, please let me know.

Here are some better views of the WeatherTech visors. I would say to go WeatherTech because I like the in-channel visors better; they look clean and are low profile. With the OEM visors, it goes over the chrome trim, but not completely, leaving small exposed areas of chrome trim.

Sweet, sweet wagon! I have the same one. How do you like the H&R coilovers? I'm debating a few options like H&R, KW, and ISC. KW is pretty expensive, there's not much known about ISC for our cars...but H&R seems reasonable.
How's the ride? Handling? Steering? Would love to get rid of some of the floatiness and soft steering if that's possible....thanks MrLogan!!

Okay, here's photos after my detailing session. Cleaned the tires and wheels with Surf City Beyond Steel wheel cleaner. Used Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Clear in a foam gun at 1:512 dillution for a pre-soak, and then washed with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash. After drying, waxed with Meguiars Hi-Tech Yellow #26 as the base coat and then Poor Boy's World Natty's Red Paste Wax. Tire dressing is Surf City Beyond Black. Quick snapshots taken with my iPhone.

Personally, I would lower the front just a touch more. But that is a small gripe. I love the look. The gold rims go well on the white and it is a refreshing change to see someone go with with 17s, and light for that matter.
Very nice work on the detailing too, something that I don't have the time, motivation, nor expertise to do. Wash + clay + wax is as much as I can do, and it'd have to be a really slow day for that to happen.

I don't always get a chance to do a full detail, so I take advantage when I do. I enjoy detailing, it gives me a sense of satisfaction.

Totally agree with this, but I'm that way for any car, not just a N/A I4. Even if I had a 600 whp beast, I see no point in getting any rims that are heavier than stock. Lighter and wider is always my goal. Anyway, great work. Looking forward to any additional mods you have down the line.
