bigman09 has that done, i prefer the red, it provides a nice contrast, and i never liked the thought of decreasing my rear light output.
thank you
minimum 35 front, 20 back is my opinion. thats what i have, and i think the front is a lil light. on my next car, if its a VBP TSX, i'll likely go for 20 all around

i agree, too bad no model in heels. maybe next time
thanks. this was actually an impromptu photoshoot with my iphone. i left my house, realized that my boy was goin to eat with his parents, saw the sun about to set, started gunning it to that spot. about 20 min drive, and im hoping that the sun wont set yet. these pictures were like AS it was almost down. didn't have time to perfectly position the car or play with angles. thats a completely unedited pic though, i love it
i actually got it washed and a spray wax put on earlier that day, and i think the spray got trapped in the plasti and gave it that wet look, i REALLY liked it too. i'll likely add the glossifier to all of the plasti soon

i want some opinions, i need new foglights, and i'm debating between going JDM look, so 3000K yellow, or sticking to the white/blue 6000K bulbs. opinions/options please? whats the best way to achieve the yellow? PIAA bulbs? HID? pics would be great if anyone knows of a Vortex Blue with yellow

The French used to run yellow headlamps (by law) to allow for better visibilty in fog and rain.
The easiest way to get colored foglamps is to use colored Lamin-X - even though that is technically illegal.
As far as your chrome trim - try wrapping it in a bit of tint material - that should give it the "black chrome look" and may look far more distinctive than black.
Just buy a roll of narrow (1 inch) tint film and stick it on. Don't worry about wrinkles and stand back and see if you like it. If so, then you can do it properly.

Depends of if you want functional foglights. With foglights, the warmer the color (towards and including yellow) will give you better visibility while blue will shoot your vision to hell if used in fog.

i may look into the tint thing, though i was gonna plasti the trim. im more concerned about the handles
thanks, i'll see you at menlo tom night? looks like no rain hopefully
Considering this idea too. I think the yellow would look great w/ VBP. Planning on buying these bulbs and maybe pair them with yellow lamin-x tints. Only concern is it looking almost piss yellow

Everyday I'm rofling
^ I think hes talking about the black bars on the 11-12 models. When I plastidipped mine I just sprayed the whole thing, black bars included. Taking the grille apart would be more trouble than its worth. I agree with leaving the emblem chrome, looks way better.

what he meant was when i redid my grill, the blade was still dipped. i think lol
newkidd, i just added more layers ontop of the part of the grill that was already done, as long as its clean, it can't hurt. if you want, you can cover it up though

took about 5 min to put in, the backs not done yet. on my next car i will hardwire the lights and install switches into the car, this one i kept as a cigarette lighter switch and it runs to the front lighter "not an ashtray" area. i actually spent about 15 min figuring it out because that fuse was actually blown, and i had to replace it, but i've never replaced a fuse before. i love that they gave us a few spare fuses and a little fuse puller in the engine bay fuse box.
