Curious, looking at how the turbo is mounted, how do you plan on routing the hot charge pipe to the IC?

Emailed you, I am very interested in moving this project forward. Look forward to hearing back from you, and through this, moving the second Gen TSX forward.

Fridays plan
I will be making the compressor intake and charge pipes friday they will both run behind valve cover to driver side and down to intercooler no room to run on passenger side will post pictures when done. Bought all the stuff for pipes today the budget is spinning out of controll. The last things i need are ---intake manifold and adapter-- rbc rrc skunk golden eagle or anything but the plastic one we all have--- 1000cc bosch injectors--- walbro 255lph fuel pump--- and some type of boost controller i like the eam one with guage.
( ----keep an eye out for used intake manifold for good deal aftermarket i can get the rbc for 200 bucks but really want aftermarket and boost controller for cheap good part---)
thanks

I would most likely run the rbc manifold with a zdx TB. If we need a different fuel pump and injectors, please list up what is suggested, so I can start piecing mine together in tandem with yours. This also allows me to install the pieces one at at time. Possibly even have a tune completed on the rbc + zdx and injectors.
Then when you have the time and can create the charge pipes and downpipe for mine, I can take all collected parts to the tuner and have the kit installed.

Sorry for not responding sooner, I have been out in NYC all week...
It looks beautiful, there is no doubt about that.
And for heat soak, I am wanting to have everything heat coated. I am also considering getting the IC painted to ensure this remains as low key as possible.
Let me know via phone or email if there are anything you need me to do, if anything.

All the exhaust is SS, correct? Do you prefer the heat coating or the DEI heat wrap? Or you will do both?

Wow! Looking good. What's most amazing is how short a time has gone by on this build. Most projects like this take months.
Now if only you wanted to make this CARB legal.....

For it to be carb legal, it is entirely too expensive.
Utah - Will the down pipe end at the stock cat position? I plan on picking up a high flow cat, as I don't want to have a run an exhaust without a cat. If not, I can work with the local shop to have one created.

It would be best to put the cat in now on the jig and test fit on my car before i put my stuff on for good have you thought about what turbo you want i like the efr one the best but it is youre choice

What is the pro to that as appose to a ball bearing?

Efr 7670
It looks like this is what I will be using in the kit internal wastegate internal blowoff valve (recirculate) expensive but will end up being lass than external valves and all the added fabrication needed intake side is tight will use cobra head intake or try to flip it over so intake faces driver side now all I need is the turbo to get started (optimusaccord ??)

Can I call you Thursday or Friday? I am in NYC again this week, but will be home in a bit. Yes, I want to do EFR. Keep is simple, and easily repeatable.

Also, I wouldn't mind it facing the driver side if it makes the intake filter mounting easier??

Call anytime optimus.
I hope I can mount it intake to the driver side the turbo I used was just to big to get by the heater core lines comming throught the firewall the compressor side was right on the lines

I'v seen guys on gen 1 tsx's put regulators and fuel return lines I'm hoping we dont have to do that. Are the deastchwerks pumps for non return setups ????

That's the fuel pump mount point that bolts to the top of the fuel tank in the which I am guessing is beneath the back seats...

I have been thinking about using the port on the back of the block where the oil filter WOULD be. On the TSX it's underneath, there is a block off plate there. (sandwich plate, then put the block off back on the plate)As for a return the current choice is taking off the time tensioner cover and welding a fitting to that.

And the winner is Icu2
Yes it is the timing chain tensioner cover I welded a hose nipple to for turbo oil drain it's -10 AN size here is the rest of the stuff for oil feed and drain for the turbo waiting for the oil filter sandwich to get here it has 2 -10 AN fittings for oil cooler with 2- 1/8 npt fittings for turbo oil feed and oil pressure guage
