Sequential V6? Is it possible?

http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2...er-for-v6.html
so I know they use a sequential transmission for the race car and the new v6 but my question is that if just the tranny swap would be possible for the common man without an insane amount of manufacturer funding?

You would have better luck installing the NSX intake.

I'm pretty sure its not as simple as a a direct swap and its probably all custom work from HPD where they also design and build Lemans cars. Sequential gearboxes also use straight cut gears so you can shift while still on power. Because of this, straight cut gearboxes also whine like a supercharger:

Civic

M3 GTR not a sequential but straight cut gears:

Ok so yeah there is no way you would ever get that sequential shifter unless you were willing to pay (10) thousands and find a custom shop that could handle such a project. They do however have a carbon fiber hood that's available

Yea that video made me makes me want to make a streetable race tsx but its big money haha clearly our car is awesome though because it competes with m3s, boss 302s and evos haha it also wins quite often but yea 10k is alot for me to swallow on a gear box. Any links for a carbon fiber hood? is it real carbon fiber?

http://www.andysautosport.com/acura/...ds/vis_racing/, if you look around you can find it for like $500ish but they also make a carbon fiber trunk as well http://www.visracing.com/newcatalog/...ber-Trunk.html
