the exhaust comes with a RESONATOR, other wise known as a "mid muffler" and then two mufflers

ed, just like mufflers resonators are sound deadening parts as well....

mufflers are usually OVAL and come in sizes like 5x8 etc...they can be either straight through (which mean there will be deadening material surrounding the pipe in the muffler but nothing in the pipe itself)....or they can be filled.... filled mufflers deaden the sound very well but are not good for performance....mufflers are usually put in the end of the exhaust along with tips....

resonators are ROUND and com in sizes like 14" long and 3" diameter....resonators are usually put in the middle of the exhaust to kill rasp and drone....

essentially they are the same (perform the same thing) but the location and the size is what differentiates them...

So what should I put in my car if I want to make it sound nicer? I removed the intake resonator so the intake just drowns out the noise of the stock exhaust. I'd like a deeper but slightly louder exhaust. Any recommendations?

many users have made exhaust modifications, just search for custom exhaust in the forums, and even on youtube, you can hear multiple magnaflows, megans, fujitsubos, ct-e, and apexi, and even skunk setups on the car
