Just general reviews, dynos would be awesome.
I sell tons of PCDs to Cali, people have their ways. Unless the inspector really knows the car well. Keeping the secondary cat in place would fool almost anyone. Again you can go back to stock in the time is takes to do a oil change. Actually you can do both at the same time.

Could we get a combo deal with the high flow cat and pcd?
#46
I had a civic si and I can tell you that removing the cats makes a hugggee difference. I installed a vibrant header with a cat and made decent power, but when I installed the same vibrant header without the cat, I picked up another 8hp...I don't have the dyno sheets anymore, but I did dyno it on the same dyno. And this was on a 2 liter motor with very little tuning (just adjusting the afrs).

I´m not pissed about RV6, I was the first who posted a Testpipe , and I never wanted to deal with this.LOL
I´m pissed that I bought the P2R Downpipe, when I saw that poor welded Part, I knew I could do it on my own, because you dont need to change the Flex part, only the 2nd Cat is enough, so I build my own Testpipe. P2R Downpipe cost 254$ at Throwdown performance ( I appreciate to deal with Marc, very much, thanks again), when I see the quality on the Pics from RV6 his PCD, then I must say the quality looks much higher for a little more $. And the part will definetely give more Power than the Downpipe. I wil try to sell my Downpipe and see if I have enough balls to install the PCD with my own Testpipe, in germany the Police can take my car away if I have so big changes at the car.

Any chance you will release a HFPC for the I4? This would be compatible with p2r downpipe and you could address that existing market I know I'd be highly interested in such an option.

I can't really go much lower then this. I made the price extra attractive since its a intro item. Lowering the price would mean I would have to cut quality and thats just not my style.
Hahaha, thank you guys.

Just paint the PCD black and keep the secondary cat. I doubt the police will have any idea there was even a cat there. They would have open the hood and look behind the engine and have a good knowledge of the car.
I don't see the point of doing a HFPC since there is plenty of room to run a high flow secondary cat. Also a defouler is included to keep any CELs from coming on. The HFPC concept works for the V6s since there is no room to run a cat in the secondary position.
Our PCD is the closest thing to a header you will ever get for this car. It comes directly off the head and connects to the secondary cat. The entire system is modular and you customize it the way you want.

Understood.
I have another question then, can someone "guesstimate" the impact of precat vs main cat emissions (CO2 especially)? The TSXes have 2 O2 sensors, right? The AFR measurement will not be affected by the PCD/defouler I hope.
Can the PCD + high flow cat pass a CO2/smog test? I was hoping to pass with the precat + p2r downpipe, but I believe the setup to be comparable emission wise with PCD+HFC (at the worst I can fit the original main cat and this will surely pass). Am I wrong?
Also, one other question: the estimated 15HP/10WTQ are with only the PCD? So a HFC/test pipe would further increase the power to the wheels. Is there a great difference between testpipe and HFC power wise?

Can someone estimate please if a 2nd cat (original) only setup will pass sniff test?
Also, I tried to order from the site, but the international options are just US, Canada and Puerto Rico (I think). How can I order in other places, like the European Union?
Thanks.

Yeah it will.. On my 2000 Accord V6, it had only 1 cat which was about the size of our 2nd cat.

can we order the testpipe now and buy the pre-cat delete / downpipe later?

Are you guys charging the full price or just a deposit? Looks like you've sold 4--still waiting till you hit 15? Any combo pricing for the PCD and Test Pipe together?

This is awful, because I want to buy one, yet have 0 money.
Rich, whats the price jump gonna be like If I dont throw down for one of these initial units? Im strongly considering it, but like you said I would love some more feedback once these hit some Aziners hands

I am ready to pick one up, but curious about the ceramic coating, it is just for heat retention correct? The pipes are all pieces are made of stainless steel, correct?
#73
Ben,
Tell me if I should buy one once you install your unit, thanks;

The ceramic coating helps keep engine bay temps down and keeps the heat in the exhaust. This helps the 2nd cat work more efficiently if you choose to keep the 2nd cat. All components are made of stainless which means they won't rust. They may still discolor though from the heat. I think the ceramic coating may help in that area to keep things shiny.

I had coated my down pipe on my turbo charged accord, so I get what it does, I'm just weighing the cost of the coating. I really want to boost the motor, however with no concrete plans, this is the next logical step in the bolt on performance pieces. Just not sure when hondata is going to release the flashpro, though they are advertising the 04-10 tsx as having flashpro available in magazines.
