Pulling Timing?

So here is my issue, when going WOT thru all the gears, I notice a slight lull or lag in 3rd gear from between 4500-5000rpms. I assume the car is pulling timing. Here are my relevant mods:
- Injen CAI
- RV6 downpipe
This is on my 2011 TSX wagon with auto tranny. Of course FlashPro is not available yet to pull any logs. I assume the MAF is reading too much air and retarding timing, but that is my assumption.
Anyone else having this issue?

only in 3rd gear?

On the dyno my 2006 TL 6MT shows a dip in power at 4000k RPM due to the Intake manifold butterfly opening.

you can buy a bluetooth dongle+android app to monitor/log engine parameters.

I just noticed you said you're an Auto.

Could it be the stall converter locking at 4k?

Not sure about the torque converter locking. This only happens when going up thru the gears at WOT. If I'm rolling down the hwy and step on the gas, it will drop to 3rd and rev out cleanly.

I believe there are multiple apps.
the one I'm thinking of is called TORQED or something to that effect. I dont know if this app is free or not.

amazon sells the OBDII bluetooth dongles for around 40-60 dollars.

Thanks Pyro for correcting my terminology.
