OFFICIAL Hondata Flashpro Calibration/Tuning Thread

You're not gunna experience huge gains with the base calibration BUTTT the smoothness throughout each gear during heavy acceleration improves, and the drop to 5k RPM for VTEC is nice as well as redline moved to 7,600RPM.

Nice how about that damn rev hang? U have any videos of driving after the flash?
#43
Honestly... I've haven't driven many other manuals other than my own tsx so I've never noticed the rev hang like others experienced.
However, why do you really want to change it? In normal driving conditions it doesn't affect your shifting whatsoever and under heavy acceleration the "rev hang" kinda helps you stay in the right RPM zone for a cleaner shift (if you shift and release the clutch fast enough). But to each there own... I'm sure you can search hondata forum to see how others fixed the rev hang with flashpro.

Yeah I've driven many manual cars but when power shifting or shifting really fast the rev hang fucks up my shifts.... When traction control is off it helps a bit... But that's not only what I want it for... Want better response for part throttle and the little power increase and the higher rev limit and better vtec window... I don't think a video will show the driveablilty ... Lol but thanks for the response it's hard to find anyone with a MT that's flashed ... 95% of tsx r auto and I'm the only manual in my group in NY

Loaded up optimusaccord's tune today. Noticed maybe a tiny difference but not much. I don't have the downpipe so i guess that's really restricting me.

Will try joe's tune tomorrow.

Oh awesome I didn't know Optimus uploaded the calibrations. Now I really want that rv6 pipe.
Let me know if my calibration does anything for you. And if you feel a power increase/decrease in comparison. If you feel a noticeable difference I'll flash mine with his calibration too before I install the down pipe

I drove around a bit more and I do feel power increase for sure on Optimus's tune. I flashed the october13th file. You can also feel and hear a big difference at 4k when the vtec comes in. I noticed no difference on yours vs stock basemap.
Try it and see if you feel any differences. I think I do for sure. Take some datalogs and upload them here so we can compare.

Alright, I'm on spring break this week so I won't get around to it for a little while. I'll let you know when I do though.
Can you post the calibrations here as well, so we have more people coming to the flashpro thread to look for flashpro calibrations?

Here is my datalog for Optimus' calibration. I don't have the downpipe nor a cold air intake, just the resonator delete and a K&N filter.
VTEC crossover sounds/feels a lot better than the base calibration. For those with manual I felt it was harder to make smooth transitions between 1st and second gear (at normal speeds).

Hopefully crappy pants can get the low/high fuel cam autotuning to work ( for some reason I was having trouble with it) I honestly think the low end needs some work with fuel/air (for the guys without the downpipe).
Even today, I'm still having trouble with smooth shifts between 1st and 2nd. Before your calibration, I could shift from 1st gear to 2nd at around 3500 and make a smooth transition. Now I have to rev to about 4500 in 1st to get a smooth transition. Possibly rev hang has changed?? Not really sure, just thought I would mention it to anyone looking here for opinions/advice.
But the high end feels really good through all of the gears! I think between myself and Icrap we can get a decent calibration for stock guys, with a noticeable difference between the Hondata base tune.

Here are 2 more datalogs posted below.
Autotune still will not work. Seems you cannot do it on a MAF config. Maybe there is a way around this?
There is a basemap, and the calibration optimus posted that both myself and ssjoeboe have been using also is pretty good.

There's a reflashed base map? Is it the one called stock equivalent? Does it lower the vtec point and all that? Had my shop call Hondata and they said there is no reflashed map for our car only stock equivalent if you want to go back after u dyno tuned the car
#71
No there is no "reflash" calibration like they have for the civic. But they have 2 base calibrations. 1 that's speed density and the other is MAF calibration. Then they have the ct supercharger calibration and another for modified injectors. Even the stock equivalent lowers the vtec and gives you higher red line and red line recover. If you want to TRULY go back to stock then there is a button to set car back to stock, but it's not the same as stock equivalent as you indicated earlier.

I CARE!! As long as your opinion is the same as mine 😝

Man... I gotta fix that 1st to second gear transition. It's killing me. I'm either over reving and slipping the clutch or I'm premature.
Icrap... I got stuff to do. Can you fix it for me?
