i like it. its a cold air, but the filter isnt housed behind the bumper so dont have to worry about water.
install is easy, no bumper removal.
7hp increase for $321
the other CAIs get you more hp though.
also interested to hear feedback.

I like it too. For a lot of people, not having to remove the bumper, and resonator is a big plus. I really like the detail pictorial instructions K&N is giving.

Up here in BC, we follow the California Emissions Standard. So any air intake system has to be CARB approved, which is one of the reason why I went with the CT Icebox.

Everything about this intake is pretty nice. I agree with the not having to remove the bumper thing because that removing and then putting back on the bumper was definitely the most difficult part of the whole intake installation, imo.

CT Icebox produce 12hp / 10ft/lb gain. It's also CARB certified.
However, it does cost $100 more and require the removal of bumper to remove the resonator and other piece.

The dyno result can be very deceiving as most tests are done with the hood open, which in this case, probably didn't take into account of the actual under hood temperature during normal operation. This type of short ram intake is generally considered as "hot air intake" as it sucks in hot underhood temp. I would rather spend the time and effort to install a CAI or Icebox instead.
