Should I swap out the current bulbs I have that I use for highbeams or should I put a HID kit on it? I took out the fuse so my DRL aren't on anymore so they would be used only for high beams and driving at night.

 

I did just that. Pulled the DRL fuse and then swapped out the high beam bulbs for the Daniel Stern highbeam upgrade - GM German Bulbs. More output without any increase in wattage requirement. Much improved lighting for $56 and only a 5 minute upgrade.

 

Can anyone put up a DIY on pulling the DRL fuse....im a noob with electronics and have no idea what that means -_-

DIY for DRL:

Open owner's manual, look up fuses, identify fuse for DRL, pull fuse, stare at it for a while, develop angst over potential issues due to pulling fuse, resolve angst, turn on car, observe lame DRL's are off, done.

Sorry, could not help myself. First mod done to mine (and previous cars), hate DRL's.
