Technically they are right about have more mounting points for better rigidity. In reality are we ever going to see that marginal difference in our daily driving? Unless you plan on doing some Dukes of Hazard running from the Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrain in the dirt back roads of Hazard county, you don't need the extra bracing ** For you kids who have no idea what what I am talking about just google it.. It was one of my shows from the early 80s **

The TSX feels much more rigid than the Mazda did stock vs. stock. Even how the doors and trunk close and the build quality. The car handles pretty well stock, and it leans more than I like when you push it and could have better tire grip, hence adding the RSB and maybe performance tires later down the road.

I loved the Dukes of Hazzard, ironically enough they remind me of my dad's relatives except better looking lol

i would also replace the progressive springs with linear ones, but definitely start with the rsb. probably best bang for the buck.

^^ if and when my wife leaves town lol. If you need your RSB installed, just give me a ring. You don't need to wait on an install day with all these jokers running around

I would want to place the order for it first! I can't decide between the Progressive and the UR...

From what I remember and know, I believe the Progress one requires some drilling while the UR one does not. The UR one I believe also costs a bit more than the Progress. I think UR also came out with a thicker RSB also...25mm?

I want the best one for the money, I'm thinking UR. The 22mm of the Progress is probably stiff enough, but I would prefer not to have to have it modified for the install.

I've installed one on my TSX. It wasn't that difficult. Somewhat time consuming but not bad. I live in Virginia Beach. If you find a lift I can help you install it. If you are military then we can take it to Oceana Naval Air Station and install it at a whopping rate of $3/hr on the lift. If you help me bleed my brakes for a brake fluid swap we'll be even.

Thanks Ben for keeping your word and hooking me up. It was great to meet you and see your TSX! So far so good with the Progress bar. I'll let you know how I like it as I drive more with it.

Also didn't have to modify the Progress bar because I bought the 3/8" end links

I installed the Progress RSB 2 weeks ago. Huge difference in handling. However, I did have to drill the mounts (as is required) but used the stock endlinks. Other than drilling (no big deal), fairly straight foward install. This and a set of good summer tires makes this car a real corner carver.....

I was thinking about going to the larger endlinks just because. got pretty close to stripping out the allen screws last time when I installed my RSB. I wonder if it would make any real difference?

On another note, I'm looking into the Megan rear control arms. Can get a set off eBay for $175 shipped. They are $210 on Megan's site. Anyone think this would be a good mod in terms of handling? Or would it really only be useful in terms of lowering?

Almost a month and about 1500 miles. There's still some front push but the rear bar alone did dramatically improve the handling. I'm happy with the results for what I paid, but the thought of springs have crossed my mind

Yup.. V8s and Hybrids too On a serious note, not sure if the V6 uses a large rear way bar to begin with. If so, the answer is NO.

Installed progress RSB. Greatly improved handling with no ride issues. Much more neutral and no lean. Can't comment on the V6 question but for the 4, RSB is a huge improvement!
