HID Fogs- recommended brand?
Does anyone have any suggestions on which HID Fog Lights I should I get for my 09 TSX?
I was looking on Ebay and I want to get the a good product. A local shop said they would install them for only $50.

Ok great. I'm looking on HIDextra's page now.
I'm thinking of getting 6000k. Could you give me a headups on a few things
-Ballast series. What are the differences in 35w/55w, Stealth, Volt?
- Is a relay harness and capacitor necessary?

Everyday I'm rofling
Never been a fan of 6000k. 5000k looks way better in my opinion.
Dont get 55w, too bright and good chance of melting stuff.
Dont know about the relay harness.

You see me, I CU2
I've used 3000k HID Extra 35w is fine for fogs. Not yellow almost had a greenish tint to them. I never used a relay harness for mines
They died about 2 months ago.
I bought VVME 3000K now, they don't look as yellow, slightly whiter closer to 3500k almost.

BTW if you search (I know this is hard but no one else is going to do it for you) someone posted this neat video on the differences of ballast wattage and the effect it has on various bulbs. For example a 6k 35w bulb and ballast and a 6k 55w duo looks the same but when you swap the bulbs around (35w bulb + 55w ballast vice versa), the 35w ballast one emmited some blue shade and the 55w was a brighter white. I think that's how it went but not entirely sure

to the op: are you going for looks or functionality? if its looks by all means go with what ever you prefer just dont expect the higher kelvin ratings to actually provide light in rain conditions, also in snow / fog conditions light refraction can actually make driving conditions worse.
also i have had good service with ddm, price is right and if its in stock its a good deal.

I put 35w 4500k HID fogs in my '10 TSX that I got from EBay. Less than two weeks later one of the bulbs is out. I don't have a relay harness. Is it cheap bulbs or the fact I have no harness?
