Does anyone other than K&N make a drop in filter for the 4 cyl TSX? Preferably a dry (oil-less) type.

i heard the only good thing about those is that it's reusable, but it doesn't filter as well as OEM ones. someone correct me if im wrong

So, if these don't filter as well. What is the point in getting them and what is the risk to the motor?

 

^people have been running them for years. and no problems to engines.

they are marketed as "more flow = more power"
except the stock paper filter out flows the throttle body at WOT.

so in theory; you're not only letting in more air, but more particles in as well.

 

Im sticking with stock. I rather be safe then sorry.

 

grigiofanatik has a drop in filter i believe, gave him a CEL? gotta have him add more when he has a chance though
