I posted a few months ago about how Murphy's law would consume my SC funds and here it is.

It really pisses me off I had to spend 8 THOUSAND DOLLARS on a hvac unit for the house.

It's hard to tell the scale of this thing, it's so big the a/c dudes had to remove the door and door frame to get it in the closet. You can see the mess from the install around the closet opening. They did a great job, but now I need a new door & all.

The compressor is almost 5 feet tall! It's the super-wazo funjimoto 10 or 12 Seer (sp?) high efficiency blah blah blah.

Thanks Uncle Sam for making it illegal for me to buy a regular ole a/c unit and be forced to buy this monstrosity instead.

/whining off.

It's actually pretty cool having lived with it for a few days. The old one, in comparison, sounded like a freight train when it turned on. With this thing you can't hear the fan like, at all, and the outside unit is so quiet. Very strange.

Here's to hoping my power bill is wayyy lower than $400 this summer.

What's the yellow and the purple; before and after?? If I am reading it right my reaction is...

WOW. 35 lbs more TQ than my 06 s/c. That thing must pull, especially as the revs climb. Damn.

Boosted, am I reading it right- almost 48 lb/ft torque increase and 71hp gain.

Do you know if CT is going to make changes to the tranny/clutch to handle the increased power from the s/c.

Does anyone have a base run for a 6MT. Regardless though, I'm getting pretty giddy.

That said, I won't be purchasing one of these until end of life for this body style. Still hoping Honda will grace us with a V6 SH-AWD 6MT before the end of life.

Yes this is for the 6spd. Yeah the TQ is great once you get in 3k rpms.

The blue line is stock. The yellow is with the 3.6 pulley and the purple is with the 3.3 pulley. We are still working on maybe trying there smallest at 3.1. That is what the Civic SI are using for the high boost.

My base run started at like 181hp and 168tq. I will double check it when I get back to work on Monday. BTW when are you coming down for a ride?

hey boosted09TSX, do you know what dyno they are using? How did you trick your VSA into thinking your car is moving? I've tried to dyno my car and the people seem to not be able to get it to work. I had some serious wrong numbers?

Sooner then later. We are currently renovating our entire house and the demo seems endless and I'm doing it all. The demo that is.

I'm almost worried about a ride because I know once I hear and feel that SC, there will be very little, if anything, to stop me from getting it...

I will let you know when I'm coming down. Probably won't be for another six weeks or so.

What pulley are you running?

I wonder how the auto will handle it, or if they will even put a kit out for the auto

For the 1G TSX's, what was different between the supercharger kits for the auto and manual?

Right now I am running the 3.6 pulley. I only have 4k miles on my car so I am trying to break it in a little more. (seams kind of weird because my car started life on the dyno with 800 miles on it). I will switch over to the 3.3 as soon as the threat of snow around here goes away. I should have the 3.3 pulley on around the time you are coming down. If you give me enough notice I can try to put together a meet with Acurazine and NSX Prime members the weekend you are come down.

Just the computer reflash as far as I know.

As far as a kit for the auto... I don't see why not.

Hey Boosted...have you had a chance to line up with any friends - either from a dig or roll? I'd be interested to hear some before and after stories!

The torque steer is not bad at all. I had a N/A Prelude with way less power that was worse.

As far as the mileage decrease with normal driving, there's very little change. When you keep your foot off the loud pedal there's no boost, little drag, and a bypass that makes it essentially as though it's not there.

So there si a local Acurazine meet this weekend so I deceided to switch over to the 3.3 pulley this morning. I will leave a review after the meet as to how it runs. I did drive it home and first gear is pretty much usless. All is does is spin the tires or bog down with the traction control on. And that is all less than 3k rpms

Were these pulls done on Church's Dynapack? I'm guessing yes since Doug uses their facilities for all testing.

If so, expect the numbers to be 10% lower on a standard Dynojet since Church's dyno reads higher than most. This would effectively put you at 238whp/200wtq which is impressive, especially the torque output, given that it sounds like you're not running a fully upgraded exhaust. Looks like the tweaks they made to the K24 make a difference when modding it as well.

How much boost are you running with the 3.6" pulley?

Just get one from a 06+ Civic Si and swap it in.

Curious, with the 3.3 pulley, did you guys do something about the cat on the back of the engine? When I talked to Doug, he told me that they had to limit the boost on your car because the cat caused the EGT to climb too much at higher boost.

As far as people's concerns on clutch/transmission... if you drive the car properly, it will be able to handle it just fine. I'm running 300tq/350hp through my stock clutch (which is built for 140tq/197hp) on my 08 Si, it's all the same ish.

I own an 08 Si and 09 TSX 6mt... they drive almost identically.

I'm guessing that eventually Derek will switch gears over to programming FlashPro to work on the CU2. He's still fairly focused on the Si and S2000 at this point though as far as I know. When that happens, the aftermarket for this car should esplode.
