CT-Engineering Supercharger
CT-Engineering Supercharger
I just got this pick from CT-E. It should be done with dyno numbers at the end if this month. It is still in development so there will be some changes on the production model.

Booyah!
For real world driving with very little maintenance issues on a daily driver, IMHO, this is without a doubt the way to go.
Looks like the blower is driven from the existing accessory belt.
SWEET!

Jesus. I didn't realize you were in Seattle BOOSTED. I have a close friend who live in Renton who I visit quite often. Would you mind if when I was there we got together? I would love to have a look at your car and hear the exhaust, etc. Maybe you can take me for a spin so I can feel the power.

lucky...sadly the money that I want to get the supercharger is going for another four years of college for nursing. Hopefully I get my EMT certification after I graduate so I can have a job to pay for my wants.

Very nice. You know I'll be there. Any word on the drop on the springs yet and when they will be available?

That's too bad - really caps the potential for going beyond what they deliver in the out of the box kit.. I know M62's tend to get mated to 4cyl and M90's to V6's, but I'm curious if they did the math or just went with what they know well.
Their kits are relatively low boost compared to most aftermarket blower kits like Jackson, Vortech/Paxton, ATI, etc. The base boost on the >03 TL-S was about 5-5.5 psi, and the high boost pulley added about 1.5-2 psi.
These things are what? 11:1 to begin with. They're conservative, and I can appreciate that considering the average user's desire.
Then again, the 90's would probably generate less heat though, particularly with a smaller pulley.

Things are happening fast for the 09 crew... congrats on the boost. CT-E kits are not cheap, but their quality and support are hard to beat. I'm in love with my 5psi on my 1G... and can't wait to add more soon.
Hondata is going to be racing at the salt flats for the next couple of weeks. I have been pushed back until mid August. So no dyno numbers for a little while. I will keep everyone informed as we get closer
It has been pretty hard, the only reason that I have been OK with it is because I work for a Acura dealer and I am able to drive a new car when I feel the need. Plus CT-E makes some of the best products that I have seen and am very happy they are the one's with my car. They are about the only ones that I would trust for this lengh of time.
