Aem cai!!!

Just purchased from Titan motorsports locally and installed my in AEM cai. I have had it on the car for almost three days and BOY does it make a HUGE sound difference! Overall I would say install was pretty easy.. The instructions were as detailed as installing an intake could be and the fitment and quality was on par with what I was expecting. It sounds great and throttle response is a lil better but I don't know if it's giving me gobs of power. I was not expecting a bunch of extra power but I am pleased with it and paired with my skunk2 header vtec really screams! All in all I am happy with the purchase and can't wait for flashpro next!

peak numbers don't matter except for showing your friends.

what matters is the gains throughout the powerband. that dyno probably is a mustang dyno and doesn't mention temperature or anything.

It shows the temperature on the bottom of the dyno sheet sir 😱😉.

I realize that I'm not getting 10 extra hp with a filter attached to 4 inch piping. I simply posted it to show AEM's claims. That dyno sheet came in the box with the intake. I'm already a skeptic of claimed intake gains and realize it's all about marketing. I'm just here to tell everybody the intake fit well, was easy to install, and that I am happy with the results. Not too many peeps have hyped the AEM intake everybody is either takeda, comptech, or injen and all based on so called "gains" that they claim. Main reason I went AEM for one was to keep it O.G. And for two because I haven't seen a lot of people with it here. Figured I test it out and post my results.

I'm glad you tried it out and updated on here.

Much like putting in the LSD into the transmission on mine.

One thing on my to do list was to try and fit a civic si LSD in this transmission since the first week I owned and drove this car. The fact that Honda designed such a great chassis and fell short by giving us one wheel wonder trannies is beyond me. I could only imagine how much it hooks around corners now and you made my vision a reality. I applaud u Optimus for posting your experiences with the LSD mod and I will def be using that thread to my benefit when my LSD gets put into my CU2!

Jaheri - It was a team effort I assure you.

It depends on how much the oem unit is, but you may want to ask axion, he sells for mfactory now. Mfactory actually creates the HPD LSD units. And the price was actually cheaper for the mfactory than the oem unit. Mfactory is all forged internals.

I am not a sales guy, just from my own research on which unit to utilize. It would have been either mfactory or quaife, but as mfactory was the only parts maker that took the time to call me and work through questions and emails with me, that is why I opted to utilize their product.
