2012 Acura TSX Hondata Request

So I've gone through the sticky for the Hondata information and haven't found a for sure tune for my 2012 Acura TSX (AT). Does anyone have a tune with an Injen CAI and the rest of the vehicle being stock? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Since it sounds like you don't want to pay for a tune, you should just use the speed density map hondata has pre-loaded.

You don't gain anything from an intake anyways, but the flashpro on the speed density lowers vtec, increases red line and feels more responsive. Overall a good calibration to use if you just want a little more "pep in your step"

Yeah, I was just wondering if anyone had a calibration already for my set-up. When I loaded up the Hondata FlashPro manager, it just had a stock equivalent calibration for my TSX. Which I was very surprised that that was the only thing available.

As a side note: I've got a general question about that. I programmed the stock equivalent calibration onto the Hondata product. When I plugged it into the OBDII and pressed the program button to load on the calibration it went through everything. However, I'm it would continue to flip between my TPMS and Emissions information tab. We turned off the car and then started it. Am I to allow it to keep flipping through those information errors until there isn't anything or was I right to turn it off and then start the car? Directions weren't that clearest in their box. Thanks in advance.

I provided a tune in the thread that I use on my 2013 5AT. Engine mods wise, I'm stock aside from RV6 PCD. You can likely use that one.
I basically took Dime Feng's 5AT map (tuned by Vit), and converted it to be compatible for 2011+.

Appreciate the help with you posting the map

Any idea on my secondary question there about what to do when just putting on the stock calibration map that Hondata has on the FlashPro Manager?

I can really only speak to my 2012 Acura TSX, but I have the K24Z3 engine with the 5-speed automatic transmission. With that being said, it does work with my vehicle.

That's what I have.
before you bought it, did you figure out that it WILL work by looking at ecu number - like it says on hondata website?
It doesn't look like I have any authorized dealers/installers in my area. How hard was it to install?

I did not check to see if it would work with the ECU that I have. Maybe an oversight, but I've had zero issues with it.

I'd say it was fairly easy to install once you figured out the initial setup. I thought there would be more calibrations than just the stock equivalent, but I have noticeable gains with that specific calibration. I'm now looking to get a downpipe and PCD and will probably reach out to VitTuning to get a calibration once that's done. If you have any existing mods on the car, I believe you are going to have to go the VitTuning route to get a specific calibration for your set-up since Hondata only gives us that stock equivalent calibration.

Kind of scary, since the field is all new to me - I know nothing about tuning. Kudos to you - you did it as I understand yourself

Appreciate it Just keep reading up on everything that you can. Only way to really understand the world and get more insight into tuning.
