2010 tsx Hondata Reflash and Dyno tune ;)
Whats up, got my 2010 tsx reflashed today, Hondata reflash, I didnt need the flashpro because I know an odficial dealer thas has the flashpro, so he just reflashed my ecu and did a dyno before and after. My base specs before the reflash is 183Whp and 155lbs of tourque this is with regular bolt ons CAI and HKS mufflers.. After the reflash I jumped to exactly 200 Whp and 177lbs of tourque. Thats 17 whp and 21 ft lbs of tourque also raised the rev limiter to 7500 and the vtec kicks in loud and clear on top end. The throttle is much more responsive and the whole car feels very diffrent over all. Just thought id share.
I also can get group deals for the reflash and dyno for 500.00 each thats awesome considering you dont need the flashpro . Get the reflash and dyno for 500.

Where is the shop located? 500 dollars for that and a tune is an insane price considering flashpro costs 600 dollars

Right on. With just an intake and rv6 pipe we pulled 194~5 out of mine... but it was 102 degrees during the dyno time. 65 degrees is about perfect. Lovely weather, and nice getting the 200.

My next 2 mids are the rbc intake manifold and cams. Then retune...should be another 40-50 whp added from those with a dyno tune...putting me at 250 whp ...cant wait..was debating the rv6...but not all impressed with its results.

To clarify, my car started with 172, after rv6 went to 188. The 172 was checked at about 70 degree weather. The 188 at 100 degrees. Then when the tuning was completed, and tuned to deal with weather and difference in gas, we settled at 194.6 or whatever it was. 102 degrees outside weather is pretty brutal, and makes everything not fast.
I hope the cams work out well for you. I am about to pick up an RBC in the near future also. I am working with another member on here, to strap a turbo onto motor.
I'll keep an eye out for results.

Guys, just to be clear, you'll need flashpro to be able to tune your car as the basemap provided by a reflash isn't calibrated for ever mod you have. You'll get better mpg (if you lay off the throttle and better driveability). FlashPro is a *tuning solution*. It allows you to take full control of your ECU and make the car run better than it comes from factory -- which includes eliminating or largely reducing the effects of "rev hang".
If the op decides to add an s/c, rbc, or any other mod, he'll need to get a flashpro in order to tune for those mods. The reflash was only designed to work with adding an intake and exhaust; not any serious bolt-ons. And, even then, it doesn't account for the vairances between intakes and exhausts, you'll get more power from a proper flashpro tune.
Also, you guys should e-tune. Dyno tuning doesn't account for part throttle, which is 95% of where you drive. A dyno tune just works to get the most power during WOT. E-dynos only cost 200 as compared to 350 for dyno tunes and you net roughly the same power + you get tuning for street driving.

I do have a flashpro, and would recommend anyone that plans on tuning their car to do the same. However, the flash for many I believe works well. It's all on target market right? A set it and forget it solution...

I still need help tuning my car. The software is pretty complicated to understand when you are looking at the data log. Anyone good at tuning? I can't justify e-tuning cause everything I need is right in front of me, but its like a different language.

The e-tuners work with you to help you understand what they're doing. The car is too complicated to learn and do on your own. The people who e-tune have been doing this for a while and have proven experience in making power. I'd rather pay 200 for etune and get the car running flawlessly, than screw up and pay thousands to repair the motor. Check out vitviper, he's been tuning onflashpro forever.

Dude you are wrong. I have no flash pro. And you dont need a flash pro if you have mods for tuning, meaning that the hondata reflash and dyno tune takes care of that. Before I had my car reflashed and dyno tuned, by an official hondata dealer. They asked me which mods I currently have. ..so they can tune for it. So if you have a ton of mods or just a few...you dont need flashpro...you use flashpro if you want to do more detailed tuning on the fly at your own convenience. ..also..yes if I decide to add more mods..cams etc...then I can easily go back and get tweaked amd dyno tuned again...because if you read I said that the dealer I deal with has the flashpro already. Thats y its so cheap..they reflash your car for you ...depending what mods you have just let them know...and if you get more mods then I dont need the flashpro...I can just go back and get my reflashed tweaked.

Go to hondata website and you will see the dealer part were they charge 350 to license each car for a tune
