USB doesn't work anymore

I've got a 2009 TSX without the NAVI, and I've been using a USB stick for music for about 2 years now without a problem. I didn't drive my car for a week, in which time it was really cold out, about minus 30-40 celcius. When I started my car again, my USB was no longer recognized. When I press AUX, it only goes to my bluetooth and does not switch to my aux input, and also the USB icon doesn't show up.
I've tested my USB on my computer and there's nothing wrong with it.

Anyone know what's wrong with it?
Thanks,
Alex

I know it is a pain in the ass, but may try disconnecting your battery to reset the cars computer. Yes this will reset everything from seat settings, radio presets and all but might fix the issue. Cars with all these features like computers it is just a matter of time before they need to be reset. Just a thought. Someone else chime in if there is another fix.

Hmm that actually sounds reasonable. It also makes me think that Acura should have some kinda back up system for the car, like save all the presets on a USB or something.

^Make sure you have the radio code handy beforehand.

Have you tried another USB flash drive? Although the stick works in your computer, it may be something else that prevents it from being read in your car. Process of elimination before disconnecting the car battery.

yup it's the same exact stick. I also tried putting in another stick too and it doesn't work either. What's the radio code?? Security for the audio? Where would I get that?

By doing just what saucy said. Reset my cars internal computer by disconnecting the battery and waited 15 minutes for the system to wipe it's memory clean.

I wonder why you would have to do that out of no where. Would love to know the cause of your issue so i know what to avoid. If Saucy is right its probably the one thing i will hate about all these feature intense is having to treat it like my computer.

The only thing I can think of is the cold. It was pretty cold when I started up my car and I never turn off my music :p. From now on I'm going to let my car warm up a bit before turning on the audio.

^ My car was never affected by the cold... maybe your battery is getting weak and, after sitting in the cold for a week, the voltage drop when you started the car affected the various computers in the car? I would have the battery checked just to make sure...
