Question about interior floor lights

Question about interior floor lights

I'm on my 3rd TSX. I am coming from a 2010 TSX Tech to a 2012 TSX Special Edition. I am almost 100% certain the lights on the floor in the front of the car stayed on all the time(while driving). The lights in the 2012 only come on when i open the door. Am I crazy?

I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be off. Your last car must have had a problem.

For my 2010, and I'm sure all other 2009-2010 models, the floor lights stay on when the lights are turned on. Maybe this feature changed in the 2011 MY models onwards

Might be an option then. There's a way to change these options in option mode. I.e. I set it so that all my doors unlock on the first remote key press instead of just the driver door.

Help

I'm having a somewhat similar issue. My 2005 TSX will only light up the door light when I open the door. The 'map' lights work when I use them manually, but they won't come on when I open the door even though the switch is set for it. What are possible causes of this?

I am currently missing my DVD/Module computer in the trunk, but would this really be tied into it?

My previous 08 had an ambient lighting option that kept tiny blue lights on when the headlights were on. It was just bright enough to find something you dropped on the floor or something on the center console. I liked it and want to do it to my 2010. Especially under the center console lid. I can't find anything in there at night.

That`s strange. My 2012 TSX Tech come on and go off as planned. My 2010 TSX floor lights were barely noticeable.

this is funny, moaar low was in my car today, and noticed the lights stay on. i have a 2010 TSX. he has a 12 SE and he said that his are only on when the doors are open. sounds like its not an option or problem with a car, but a design change, though it was done quietly
