Problems with daytime taillights after led spoiler install.

hello everyone im having some taillight bulb problems wirth my car. I installed a led spoiler in my car. Was working fine and then my mechanic was finsihing the install on the spoiler he accidently drilled the led wire . Now my daytime tailights wont work. Like the tailights at night time are not working. . I went to take a look at the bulbs and both sides were burnt out. I replaced them and tailights dont light up at night time. Its the same bulb as the brake light so the brake light still works. Im puzzled right now to what happpened. we even tested the led spoiler by wiring up to a 9 volt battery and it worked. any help would be greatly appriciated =) Oh forgot to mention the wiried the led spoiler to the tail light connecter . it worked fine before we accidently drilled into the wire

You lost me in the wall of text... I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. But between "drilling a wire" and "lights burned out" I'd take a really good look for where there is an electrical short. Pull all the harnessing working back from the lights to where the damage is/was and look for problems.

You didn't mention what kind of spoiler it is so I assume MIC eBay special. It might be worth unplugging the spoiler to see if that solves the problem. Might be that it's an electrical nightmare.

no where in the wall of text did it say they fixed the short.

I would start there!! I would look at the wires that were cut/damaged and either replace the damaged wire or heat shrink over the damaged part.
