Question Spoiler LED help please!

Ok, so I already have the spoiler put on ran the brake light wire through.
Now when I get to the easy part, to hook the led up to the 3rd brake light it doesn't seem to work.

First, I unplugged both 3rd brake light connectors
Second, cut one side and connect the two led wires (red/black) to the two 3rd brake light wires (white/black). I put red - white and black - black. and also tried the reverse.
But the leds dont light up when I hit the brake. I know that there is power to the oem wires because i reconnect it back to the original setup and it still works.

1. Did I not connect it correctly or..
2. The leds are just broken (blew out?)

Have you refer to the spoiler install instruction for the OEM spoiler?

I bought my spoiler from spoilerdepot and still have not have the time to put it on yet. One reason is that I do not know how to connect the wires from the LED to the brake light. The kit came with some wiring accessories and there were two red plastic things. Anyone know what I'm supposed to do with those?

Yup, the spoiler didn't come with a harness so I just spliced it but doesn't seem to work

Desi: no not yet but I will today, hope its just some dumb mistake I made so I don't have to send it back.

Did you try to power the spoiler break light with a constant 12Vs ? I guess you kinda tried that already.
