iOS 4 and my 2010 TSX

I'm guessing that the TSX's software does not support the newest OS because the iPhone OS info stated that it would have something to do with the connection between it and the car audio. I'm hoping Acura will address the problem, but then again I have a friend who tried to use his Zune in my car and it did not support that either.

It's a known issue, unfortunately.

Until Apple fixes it (because Honda most definitely will not), a workaround is to reboot the phone, start the iPod app, *then* connect via USB.

This seems to be working so far for me.

Good Luck.

Hey, thanks for the tip, I rebooted my iPhone and it works great now. Probably what everyone who is having problems should do.

Looks like we have to cycle the ignition key through the accessory position and wait 10 seconds. Here are some notes from the engineer:

If the iPhone is (hard) reset, ACC OFF (for 10 seconds) and ACC ON, then the reset iPhone is connected, the system recognizes the iPhone.

Please note that if a non-reset iPhone (OS4) is once connected and disconnected, other iPhone(OS3)/iPod will not be able to be used until ACC OFF/ON with the vehicle.

By any chance are you guys using a cable different then the one that came with the iPhone?

Up until yesterday I used a cable from an iPod and would have random problems accessing my music on my iphone/ yesterday I switched to the cable that came with my iPhone 4 and so far no problems.

he also has to make sure the iphone isn't outputting the sound via Bluetooth. I know in mine, if the bluetooth connects AFTER i've connected the usb cable, the iphone will default to bluetooth audio. I have to manually switch it back to dock connector. In this case, he would have to switch it back to earphones or whatever.
