Hey, anyone know how to get a radio code for my 2006 TSX? I bought it used in October (2010), and recharged my dead battery yesterday and it is prompting me for a code. I went online to figure out the serial number of the radio, but can't figure out how to get the code. Any help would be really appreciated. Joe

 

it is special for the car, you will need to contact who you bought it from and check all the documents make sure its not there

 

Theres an iphone APP that i used before called Acura how to videos. it had an option to get the radio code you need the VIN number and serial codes as well as zip code and phone number of the owner. I would try that out they might even have a website you could go to. If you have the 06 tsx with nav i can give you method to retrieve the code just by using the navigation screen

 

go to a local Acura dealer. They will help you out. Atleast thats what my salesman told me if I lose my codes in the future.

 

My manual says to turn radio on, turn off, press 1, 6, & power at same time and radio serial number will be displayed. This will only work when "Code" is displayed when radio is turned on.

Can then go to Acura dealer to get radio code.

 

The purpose of a radio code is to keep someone from stealing a radio and using it.

The only legal way of getting the code is to go to an Acura dealer, proving that you own the car/radio and supplying the serial number.

We can't help here since we don't know that it is your radio.
