EXLEDUSA custom LED interior light props

http://www.exledusa.com/exled-acura-...light-kit.html

Just wanted to give props to this company for the great custom LED kit for the CU2....these custom bulbs are the brightest available...and the pure white 5000K (amongst other available colors). The universal bulbs will work but not near the output of these....

I purchased a kit from them a while back. All red interior LEDs and white license plate. Went through 2 cheaper sets prior to these. Huge difference in brightness and quality compared to the cheaper ones. As well as being the only ones that were a direct fit. Def worth paying more for!

will do...! the map and dome lights are spectacular!

these are their vids not mine and I have no association with the company except for being a VERY satisfied customer!

I got my 5000K EXLED set awhile ago during their introduction group buy. Great quality, and super bright lights. They're holding up great.

The EXLED's are super bright, I only have them set at 25% or so brightness. The brightness on the front and rear dome lights are adjustable. I wanted to go more an OEM look since the TL's have LED's standard

these are not exaggerated photos...I may turn the back dome down just a tad as it seems a little brighter than the front. This will also increase the life of the LEDs.

You can adjust the brightness? I've had these for over 6 months and never knew that. Lol.

Good point to mention about the door lights that pictures don't show. They aren't flat panels like the dome lights or any other LEDs out there (that I have seen, anyway). They are angled just like the bulb housing. So the light shines out as well as down toward the ground.

Nevermind, one pic does actually show the light shining on the ground.

Officially time to stop doing drugs..... For the rest of the day.

There's a small potentiometer on the front map lights and rear dome light. If you turn it with a small screwdriver, it will adjust the brightness.

best ones, IMO, are the custom dome and map lights...those are the main ones to get.

That's what I was thinking about, but those 3 alone are still ~$60. My door/trunk/license plate ones are all a nice 5k white, while the map/dome are an ugly 6k. I think I'm just going to buy some individual leds and make my own for the map/dome.

I bought these for the front 2 map lights, they worked ok, brightness was ok, plus they are 5000K and cheap.

They look great! Has anyone ever done a temperature check on them? I bought a bulb once for my old car at Pep Boys, it would burn my finger if I touched the plastic above the bulb it got so hot.

Also, any other issues with electrical system after installing these? With the way car are today with electronics seems like one minor thing can cause a major issue with other systems.

Hey, bro. Do you have any pics of your lights? I just got into a 2012 SE and would like to match them with the red dash lights. Can we order a red license plate one? And how about the courtesy lights at the foot boards, I'd like to make those guys brighter when the doors are closed any ideas or threads that I might have missed?!?

^ Red license plate lights will probably get you pulled over lol. And there is a thread somewhere that showed how to make the footwell lighting brighter. There's like this plastic cover over the light and you just have to drill a hole in it. Lemme see if I can find the thread for ya~

EDIT: Here you go

So, I'd like to order these in red. But have a question. On the picture above it shows a complete led kit. Vanity mirrors, doors, map, license plate and dome. But then further down on the parts page it says "Kit includes map, dome, trunk and license plate" so which is it?!? Cause at this price if it isn't whats in this picture you've posted than its probably not worth it. Also, would a kit come completely red if ordered red?!? Thanks!!!

Yeah, I thought it might be illegal, but I'll look into it. I did the footwell mod earlier but now would like to figure out how to keep them on after the doors are closed. Like my 2009 used to do. The reds ones on my new TSX turn off when the doors are closed.

I have a blue kit from exLed in my 12 for a year without issue. the quality is great.

blue included the 4 doors, the big overhead, the front maps. the vanity were white and the license plate were white. I have a wagon and the rear trunk area are white. I assume the trunk ones are white in the sedan kit.

I have bought other things from them for my other vehicles. the best way to communicate and get the right answers is to email them. they always got back to me within a day or two. the customer service is great!

and I cannot recall any negative posts or any issues that they didn't correct......if you want every led red I would suspect they will make it for you.

You can probably tap a wire into the power wire for the LED and tap that wire into something else that gets power when the car is on or when your parking lights are on deepening on what you want.

Yes, anything but "white" is illegal. Blue is the color that is virtually 100% guaranteed to get you pulled over.

actually depending on the area, red is more likely. blue desensitizes people to the color so when blue flashes behind you, your mind isnt as triggered because its used to seeing blue. the red is more of a fuck you, dont use our color you fucker type thing. the only reason i say it depends on the area is because some states have only blue for PD(such as boston), red is fire, green can be something, whatever it is. in jersey its blue/red for pd and only blue for fire/ems. green is command, purple is funeral

True, it is area dependent.

I got pulled over years ago for my BT headset. It was one of those early Jabra sets that would blink blue brightly with incoming calls. It was a dark night and the cop thought I had lights in my car - I did, but they were in the glove box where they belong when not being used.
