anything with a Sony sensor to grab the best picture.
a few come to mind, the tried and true Blackvue cams and ThinkWare.

Check out www.blackboxmycar.com for reviews and general knowledge

I tend to dislike dashcams with screens. the lower budget dashcams come with screens.
I'd rather have something super discreet and the best possibly image from a sony sensor even if it cost 300-400 bones

Budget, not really an issue. Same re: discreet. Don't need a screen... wi-fi connectivity is nice. I'm presently looking at the Blackvue's - they look pretty discreet/sharp.

Of course!
Red wire for power. Black wire for ground.

I suppose I could go check, but I'm gonna slap this EASY button first... Does the mirror have 5V and you just need to tap in the USB pigtail, or do you need the voltage converter box?

Perfect! That's what I thought, but late at night, my brain has a hard time thinking.
