Cellular Phonebook

Hey guys, I just picked up my new 09 TSX with Tech Package yesterday and I am confused with the phone book features.

From what I understand, you can import the phonebook from you your cell phone and then dial by name ... is that right? If so, how do you do it? Thanks

I think only a few phones are compatible of importing the phonebook to your car.

Try to find your phone, and it will show all the compatible features (:

Thanks but I have it paired no problem. The issue is getting the phonebook into the TSX. The dealer showed me how to do it but I don't remember ... then I erased it cause I was having issues.

BTW ... I have an iPhone

I also have the iPhone and there is no way to import contacts with iPhone. I know because at the website, it clearly says the iPhone doesn't have that feature. And I've tried and it doesn't work. You have to manually input phone numbers and names. I wish they could update it or something, but I highly doubt they'll ever do that.

This is incorrect. I also have the iPhone (3G), and I have imported my contacts. The thing you are referring to on the website is for the data link, which is something different and deals with service appointments.

To import, I think it is under the info button. You go to cellular phonebook, then select import. You have to have your phone paired with the handsfreelink 1st. This will copy all your names & numbers to the car. If you want to dial by voice, you have to manually add the voices.
