Does bluetooth show the persons phone number or name on the info screen for anyone?
Also does it show song info when your streaming pandora to your radio?

My 2012 doesnt show any of that info and im wondering if other years or models do. Maybe it can be a simple bluetooth module swap.

 

It shows the person's phone number on the MID screen. Doesn't show any song info though.

 

Really? Mine doesnt seem to change at all whether I get a phone call or not.

 

What kind of phone? Works fine on my S5 and worked fine on my S3. I'm sure iOS works as well.

 

I used the iPhone 5 and now I'm using iPhone 6.

 

Well that's weird that it dosen't work. When you get a call does anything happen on the MID screen? does it show your battery and signal level?

 

Everything work well here for the bluetooth with a 2012 TSX. Use a Iphone 4S on Ios 8.1

 

the bluetooth set up in the car is pretty basic.

in my dad's lexus, you can control the music (pause/fwd/back) through the car's control.

 

Iphone 5 paired to 2013 base, when i get a call my MID displays the number, also pretty sure i get signal strength on there. when i stream music via bluetooth(music app or pandora) the channel buttons work to go forward/back. pretty sure everything was the same when i had my 2010 base

 

Maybe it has to be one of the phone # saved under the phonebook? My non-nav version shows the number only

 

I have a non tech as well and its never shows the number when I receive a call. Whats gives? I wish i could upgrade the bluetooth module.

 

That's weird.. mine always shows the number on the mid screen.
