Best phone mount for Galaxy S3?

My CU2 has is a non-Nav version. I use my S3 with a larger extended battery/case in bluetooth mode to navigate via Google or Waze. I'm considering either the Pro Clip of the ibolt systems. The Pro Clip is clean, expensive and cannot be put away out of sight when not in use, so thieves see it and know you may have phones in the car to steal. The ibolt system is more portable, maybe not as secure mounting to the dash or windshield, but can be thrown in the console or glove box out of sight when not in use and adjusts to thicker thicker battery/cases. Not sure what else is out there since I last checked a year ago. Any feedback on these or others?

I have the ProClip mount with a universal phone holder from Best Buy attached to it. It is custom made to fit the trim peice to the right of the dash. Works very well and it's a good spot which is easy to reach. Fits my S3 no problem and it is easily removable also.

The Proclip mount completely detaches from where it's mounted without wearing out the adhesive? Do you have a standard size battery or thicker battery/case?

I didn't use the adhesive... didn't peel it off. Its unnecessary. I have a standard size battery, wireless charging coil and thick case. The holder expands to fit the phone.

Why did you use the Best Buy universal phone mount instead of the Proclip mount made for the S3? The entire mount can be removed and reattached repeatedly from the column side without damage or the attachment becoming less secure?

The proclip mount isnt nearly as good and it dosent extend. It also cost more. And yeah the entire thing can be reattached without damage or becoming less secure. I've done it a few times, but now i mostly just leave it there.

I have considered various options and think that the Kenu Airframe is the best universal car mount. I bought it last month and absolutely love it. It's slim and gels well with the overall dash materials and design.
