anybody else lose their BT icon?

Recently, the bluetooth icon on the screen has disappeared even though my phone is paired. anybody experience this? I've been to the dealer so many times that i don't even care to do so anymore for little things like this. Can someone here just tell me if there is a quick fix? I tried repairing.

Try removing the battery from your phone for a couple of minutes. this seems to fix several items

I use have similar problems, including loosing BT connectivity while in conversation. I think it's a bug, but Acura's position is that, if the phone is not officially listed on their handsfree approved devices, then "it's normal". So i am starting to think that a 79$ visor-mount BT speaker works much better and is more reliable than our cars' BT system (less the other conveniences, of course).
